  1. There is an S-AFC in the for sale section for about $400 I think. Blue screen model. Cheers!
  2. Mate, i dunno. Somewhere around $50? Hence why I put $offers.
  3. Hi all, I have two items for sale 1x HKS Pod Filter + 4" adapter to bolt up to standard R33 GTS-t AFM - $offers 1x Standard SII front grill with red "S" - $offers Pic of the Pod + adapter
  4. old trick, doesn't work. don't try it. just don't speed! *cough* yeah right *cough* :burnout:
  5. Mine managed to get itself to 210.2 HP. Got to 198 with nothing tuned then Steve quickly added fuel to my top end which got me to the 210. Will have to get my S-AFCII tuned properly and wind a bit more boost into her. Might help if i make a partion for my HKS pod, damn that thing's noisy. For mods, see signature. Note: Nothing tuned yet....
  6. Hi guys, I may be able to help you out on the "accountant" side of things...I am an auditor after all..... Happy to contribute! Cheers.
  7. PranK, Fair enough dude. Didn't even think of that. Cheers!
  8. PranK, Can we get the info posted into the Business section thread then?
  9. Adrian, nengun as well mate....appeared to go out to people who have signed his guest book I'm assuming....
  10. Yeah I got that e-mail....very interesting.....now where's my wallet....
  11. When you guys refer to max boost, do you mean consistently running that pressure. I have a S2 R33 and usually try and keep it around 10psi. However, I have been known to wind it up a touch and on a cold night have surpassed my 12.5psi warning on my EBC and hit 13.3psi but only for a second. Is this going to ruin my turbo in the same way? Or is it only when sustaining that boost. I literally heard the EBC alarm go off and lifted my foot.
  12. R34GTT-R, mate, look at takakaira, greenline or nengun. Do a search, their sites are all listing somewhere on here. Not 100% sure about R34 PFC but....
  13. Thanks for all your replies. Looks like the only easy solution to lower boost is lower revs....bummer....i'm loving the more than standard boost anyway. Got my warning set at 0.85 bar and don't usually see much over 0.72 anyway.
  14. Can't really offer much help with front "S" and rear boot lock but the side GT badges I think you can get from Nissan dealers as they came out on the S15 200SX. May not be the cheapest option but at least is one option.
  15. Without chasing too much horsepower (read 220-230rwkw), what are your opinions about intercooler sizing? I've read lots about this but all with reference to 600x300x?? size coolers. From what i'm hearing, the recommended thickness is 67 or 76 or something, which i'm told is good for that sort of power while over 100 in width is too laggy. Reason I'm prompting this question is would a front mount of proportions such as 470x260x65 be sufficient for these power aims? Is it worth upgrading stock cooler for something this small or is it only beneficial to go to the larger 600x300 core? Opinions would be appreciated. Cheers:confused:
  16. Hi all, Quick question, stock boost, as I understand it, is controlled mainly by the actuator spring being rated to open at approx 7psi. Does this mean a) a higher rated spring will result in more boost and therefore B) a lower rated spring will result in less boost. The reason I ask is i've recently fitted an EBC which has 4 settings as was thinking of replacing the spring with a lower rated one so I can run lower boost when it's wet but then use the EBC to wind it back up for dry. Thoughts? Cheers!
  17. Mate, i'm starting to think that it needs to be plumbed to the pipe at the front of the turbo (that leads to the BOV) but i'm not 100% sure as a stock vacuum lead did go to this location. However, it does seem to work without it. Anyone else care to share some input? And no worries on the help. Happy boosting!:uh-huh:
  18. For what it's worth, I've just fitted a Spec S Blitz DSBC and so far, i'm blown away with the accuracy. Also love having the peak boost and real-time boost readout as i'm not one to go putting guages all over my car.
  19. Raist60. Cheers for the reply. Looks like i'm stuck at minimum of stock boost. Did have an idea to turn it down for when others are driving but oh well.... I realise every car would have different gain/ratio settings but I was wondering what other people actually had. Personally mine's on Gain 20 / Ratio 30 and getting about 0.72 bar on stock turbo and intercooler. Anyone else care to share they're settings?
  20. Hi all, After surprisngly little trouble, I actually managed to hook up my Blitz Spec S EBC despite being a total NOOB when it comes to automotives. I've downloaded a manual and tuned it accordingly but I was wondering what all of YOU are running in terms of Gain settings and Ratio settings. Also, (this is going to sound stupid) can you turn the boost down? Cheers! :uh-huh: :burnout: :uh-huh:
  21. I have a similar thing on mine but much lower numbers. Mine gets to about 10 on idle and reduces to 0-2 during driving. Is this indicative of a good engine (TOnyGTst?) or incorrect settings due to low numbers. I followed the instructions on that web page posted three times now with similar results.
  22. right, i'm going to give this a go tomorrow, anyone with any last word's of advice?
  23. I'm saying it's personal preference to the wrapping. Obviously, if they are putting warning labels on, then it's a tradeoff between power now (due to less heat) versus longevity of the pipe. HPC coating in the best option if you got the $$ (can't imagine it's too much ~$150?) No i haven't noticed any extra heat but i haven't had a long drive. It's going to be subject to peak hour traffic thursday so i'll let you know but i can't imagine it would make any more heat than the exhaust already produces.
  24. Gianni: Mine was given a "high flow cat" during compliance so I just left that one on. No problems with sharing info. More than happy to help.
