  1. Just got my car back from exhaust shop putting my centre muffler back in. BEST MOVE EVER. I love it, it's so quiet, it makes no noise except the engine & turbo. All you can hear is the turbo spoolin followed by a "woosh" of the BOV. Love it :D
  2. It's probably been said (seriously CBF'd reading thread) but here in WA, we are only allowed one set of forward facing lights on. I often have my drivers on around dawn/dusk and when driving in the country so i'm that much more visible to other drivers. Short of that though, once it gets dark enough, my driving lights go off and my normal headlamps on.
  3. Done and done No shipping cost?
  4. I got the 846MP and it's great. Love it. Don't know about the touch screen tho as mine's a model down. Music Catcher thingo is a funky feature. Hooked up to my addzest (jap clarion) stacker no worries. Plenty of features, good power output (53x4).
  5. Loz, One lanyard thingo please
  6. Just for comparative purposes, here are two photos (camera phone) from a couple of minutes ago. You can see that it's got considerably worse than the photos I posted around 9am this morning as far as smoke cover goes.
  7. I think the smoke is getting worse. I could take more pictures but all you would see is white/grey now. Literally, Looking out the window, northbridge has disappeared as has kings park. Here is a pic looking east down st georges terrace. Again, apologise for the quality as it's from my phone.
  8. I did exactly what you are thinking of doing and seriously, back to back dyno runs, i gained maybe 1 or 2rwkw but that could also come down to tempartures, better fuel, anything. I've actually got mine booked back in to have my centre resonator refitted tomorrow as I prefer it quiet. Saying that, 12psi+ boost and WOT and it howled like a banshee being burnt at the stake. Loved it but personally prefer to not have the extra attention.
  9. Here are a couple of pics taken from the woodside building. Sorry about the pic quality as they are from my mobile!
  10. I don't know what you're all talking about  There sure is a lot of fog though that smells like bushfire Amazing smoke coverage, coming from south, I couldn't even see the city until I got to the south perth on ramp on the freeway. From the City, well, lets just say that I can't see too much north, pretty much can see northbridge but any suburbs after that are just smoke covered. West I can't see much past Kings Park, south, I can't see the other side of melville waters. Crazy
  11. Bass, sorry to be a pain but i'm gonna have to pull the pin. Returning to stock is a big thing for me so this new design doesn't suit. Sorry to d*ck you around.
  12. I'd also like to put in my 2c for NYC Top pizza's, huge slices, great toppings :drooling: Makes me hungry just thinking about it....and i can see them from my window at work
  13. I literally just installed my Clarion (i know, not an Alpine but same shit, different smell) that just arrived from Texas that I bought off Ebay and it works fine. Didn't change any settings at all. My bro also bought a Sony deck from the states about 1 year ago and had no problems. I say, if it feels good, do it
  14. i know the asian guy with the expensive camera was Matt Poon. I only know him through high school though and not sure how to contact him. Also want to see his photos as I know he snapped a few of my car:)
  15. What a fantastic turnout! Jeeeeeeeesus, good on you WA for getting behind such a worthy cause. Will be good to hear the final count on the money raised. I took off after the Bunnings checkpoint as waiting 45mins to get into or out of a carpark wasn't my idea of a fun cruise. I did my part and donated, chatted to a few familiar faces then promply took off. Well done to the organisers and cheers for all involved.
  16. Hi My understanding is that the speed limiter is an in-built function of the stock ECU. Therefore, after fitting the PowerFC you "should" be able to speed past 180 when out on race tracks etc right? Now we know that one of the monitor functions on the PFC is speed so if you take your car past the 180 mark on your dash, does the PFC continue to read speed on its digital readout above 180 or will it cut out? I guess i'm curious as to whether if I found a sufficiently long piece of road like an airport runway or the Sturt highway in the NT, would my PFC show my speed despite the fact that my stock speedo ran out at 180km/h? Cheers!
  17. great idea and in all honestly, i was thinking of posting something like this up myself but having never organised a cruise, shyed (sp?) away from the idea. I'll be there with dosh
  18. physically it fits however, you have to change headlights, grille and bonnet. Not 100% sure on bumper support but it'd imagine them to be the same. Long story short, it's not going to happen, sorry.
  19. I got the usual clothes, little bit of dosh, mini tool kits etc. Then I went and bought myself some ICE in the form of a new deck and a TV for my car. Yay
  20. Good to see another HKS 2535 equipped RB25 making 250rwkw+. Join the club It's a great turbo. I have similar mods but was running higher injector duty at lower boost  My bosche 910 pump is supposedly rated higher than the GTR pump in terms of flow, plus i have an adjustable fuel reg so i'm a little perplexed. Good on you though on a great result. Anyone looking for a bloody fast street car, this would be good buying!
  21. Sold! pending final confirmation....me wants it
  22. run a diagnostics check from the consult panel and see if it throws up a code.
  23. actually fane, I know for a fact that my R33 Series II turbo has 45v3 on it, not 45v2. If I were to hazard a guess, I would say it would be a rebuilt s1 turbo, which is still ball bearing anyway. Good luck with sale!
  24. People, Can highly recommend taking Ash out. He's a top bloke. I went to the SAU VIC meeting last tuesday, as you do when in melbourne for a couple of weeks, and Ash kindly extended his middle finger, i mean passenger seat, when this west aussie was looking for a car to cruise in. One word sums him up: Champion Ash, I look forward to extending the invitation back when i'm back that way, no GT30 or screamer pipe on my car though mate. Dave
  25. Nice to meet some of our Vic counterparts. This WA boy was impressed Big ups go out to Ash You are a legend. Cheers for driving my fat @ss around all night and then dropping me back in the city rather than leaving me at some train station out in whoop whoop I love that screamer pipe! It's so obnoxious....i want one :boinkcar: Dave
