what are you using it for? a monitor or a TV? I bought one of those 28" viewsonics for ~7xx and it was pretty good..would make an good monitor..it is damn bright..the white is really good. however..as a TV..it has no remote..and you need a tuner....plus it started making this buzzing noise so I returned it less than a week later. decided I will save money and get a proper plasma/lcd... the other thing is that its an older 6bit LCD screen, and it doesnt have a terribly great viewing angle (again not a huge issue if you use it as a monitor)

just use lens correction is PS3 to fix that...theres a horizon adjustment feature...you will lose some edges but otherwise will be much better. some nice shots you have there, I also noticed you used a D80 nikon for the first two/wildlife photos

cheers guys for the milk splash I used a 50mm 1.8 for those shots, speedlite mounted on hotshoe, and an old black tshirt for the background. 40d was mounted on tripod over a table. i grabbed a basting brush (or any brush really) and used that to drip milk...i was using the bottom of a drinking glass as the base there.. anyway you just keep dripping and shooting until you get the shot you want..i wasnt using a stupidly fast shutter..i think it might have been about 1/320..just experiment and see what works...which is all i was doing.. happy to answer any questions though for any shots you might see.

been playing around with the new version of racechrono..which now supports vbox exports.. meaning you can use performancebox software (free) to analyze data on your pc..pretty cool. best free program ever!
