  2. so i ended up going. congrats ash, ross, kaz & bec ..dont forget everyone, contact ash for ANYTHING!
  3. as james suggested yesterday.. put up the SAUVIC eps/vector so people can incorporate it if whoever designs it makes it in vector format it will be scalable to however big you want it anyway i'll give it a crack..once that logo goes up

haha i love these 'i heard' and 'apparently' responses. good ol internet mechanics for you
  6. metal. death metal thrash metal power metal melodic death metal metal metal metal
  7. so they've shoved you in that area now?? i dont think im going this year have fun with the weather though..get some waterfights going haha
  8. take it to the track!
  9. yeah they're pretty much all the same as well.. could be a nice business to get into if people want to throw money away like that haha
  10. HAHAHAHAH at those videos...nice laughing...
  11. blahh ive been in snowy's and ferni's cars..thats nur spec enough for me (when it comes to being in fast cars haha)
  12. Did you get this sorted? I can do it for you pretty easily if you hadn't got it sorted out yet.
  13. you could make up a similar setup to that using the same gear for a crapload cheaper if you really wanted to.
  14. the straight would be fun with that much power.. just make sure to slow down in time..hehe
  15. Dunno it looks like it'd do a fair job I reckon. I got a bullet cam instead but the quality is average..which is more due to the way i have it setup. If you can get one of those hero cams you could make fair use of it for interior, etc.. Scruinteering first, cam in second lol Funny thing though, I read on the cams site that theres no actual 'requirement' only recommendations..until they think that after 2009 that any camera that isnt mounted directly to the floor of the car will have a maximum weight of 100g..(ie bullet cams only i'd say) http://www.camsmanual.com.au/techdocs/T-401%5B1%5D.pdf Make of it what you will..im sure theres some other cams rule which conflicts and doesnt let you have it mounted on a suction cup mount or something..
  16. 450kw?? sounds interesting..lol 2min..easy
  17. Yeah seen those little hero cam ones..you can get them fairly cheap if you look around..can't remember the approx price though Ferni and I were checking those out a few weeks ago
  18. Just use AnyDVD ..will fix up any encoding/decoding/region issues you have.. then burn/copy with your normal program.
  19. Ive used both, i wouldnt say that the vacuum ones you pump are more secure. Plus 1 vacuum vs 4 suction..if 1 suction lets go..you still got 3 hanging on..if that big vacuum lets go..its all over but then you still should have tethers and what not. but either way they'll both get the job done fine. $250 isnt too bad a price either
  20. generally a wider angle lens would be ideal as well.
  21. WAY cheaper to get a cheap digicam and mount it on suction cup/roll bar mount unless you want to mount it outside your car? the kits that record to solid state memory are bout 500-600 bucks on the cheaper side of things
  22. did you use to work at the one on stkilda road? my mate used to work at dodo..but that was a few years ago
  23. Its pretty good, bit on the large side..i reckon the smaller one would be better...expensive too..does the job for me though. examples: outside on scotts roof - http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=VdXCvYNUZyU outside on scotts door - http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=r6YIGiVl9q8 outside on my rear quarter window - http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=putvYexTtFQ inside adz(max) rear window - http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=rqwrgPg1ojg ive used it for my DSLR as well. on a panel.. then you can go bullet cams as well which are probably the way to go..bit on the pricey side...i'd just pick up a bulletcam kit on its own (inc mic, powersupply) and then use my DV camera to record... http://www.helmetcamera.com.au/ http://www.dogcamsport.co.uk/DogcamPro.htm
