  1. Can anyone tell me what pin number on the rb25det ecu that is for the Throttle position sensor signal wire? Ive looked at a few diagrams and tried to match it up using the rb20 diagram pin 38 seemed to be correct? "throttle opening output" Now when i prob the wires and try to set the idle the lowest i can get it is 1.4v which needs to be around 0.5 There are a few other pins for throttle switch but isnt this for the auto plug? I only have 1 plug
  2. The engine was hot did it straight after a 45 min drive I did read somewhere you take out all the spark plugs when doing the test hmm.. A friend mentioned to use a battery pack to help with cranking incase the battery is not %100 Ill check out the cams I also have a consult cable so I'd say I can check out the timing with this?
  3. So if I had like 80 on 1 or something like that I would be in trouble I just find it strange how the second test gave even numbers might try a different tester
  4. Ok tried it again with throttle open got 120 120 120 120 110 110 battery going in the end maybe ? Very odd results this time
  5. Thanks after looking at that thread I didn't have the throttle body open whoops suppose it does matter
  6. Got a 32 with a rb25det series 2 with unknown k's on the motor i so decided to check the compression I first tried the screw in type connection which was hard to do up tight and gave me 90 So i tried the push in type and got 120-122-121-120-123-120 Then engine was hot These seems to be low results but how low is to low? The car runs fine and pulls hard
  7. Hey guys I kept getting code 13 "water temperature sensor" So i replaced the sensor disconnected the battery for a few hours But nope still comes up code 13 I probed the wires and got 5v on both What could it be, Its a 32 with a conversion could it be bad wiring somewhere I was thinking maybe running a direct wire to the ecu to test would this work?
  8. Hmm just tested the TPS getting 4.6 4.7 on or off throttle
  9. Spot on! All i do i pump the pedal and it slowly starts This is once the sensor is hot. I did have the tps out about 2 weeks before this happened would this matter at all?
  10. Ok got diagnostics working and these were the codes 13 - Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 43 - Throttle Position Sensor So basically the other night the coolant temp sensor wouldn't let it start? or tps?
  11. Hey guys I have a 32 with a 25 conversion I drove to the shops came back 5 mins later And it would just not start I thought it was a heat related problem so i waited 45 mins or so and it finally turned over I thought it could be related to the battery yet started after sitting 5 days. I also did notice on the drive home when boosting it hesitated a bit basically ran like crap I am thinking coils as i changed the plugs 4 days before hand or water temp sensor I tried checking for fault codes but did not have any luck Will the check engine light flashes method using a different ecu (rb25det) still work? I could be doing it wrong? Thanks.
