Well I will be removing the SSQ altogether and capping it.Then putting in the TurboSmart one in. On that bend closest to intake. Haha the first time I was pulled over in my 32 the cop knew P Platers could NOT drive turbos (so did I) but looked straight at my turbo..

My cooler pipe is stainless. So, I guess the adaptor stainless as well? But if I can remove the plate from bottom of the BOV and just use a hose to connect it to the cooler pipe. Then I might do that, sounds easier and probably a better seal..

Hey guys, I'm having trouble finding an adaptor plate for my 'Kompact Plumback' But I do have the spec sheet (of the BOV) with the exact measurement of the base ect. Will an exhaust shop be able to make up an adaptor plate for it? If I hand them this sheet.

just got through this thread and holy sh*t man. So glad to see you were finishing this build after the EOI of parts a couple of pages back. I would of thrown the towel in a while back..$$$ Yay for RB20's (24) great build!

Okay, great. So, ie. boost guage with vacuum line (mechanical?) - Illegal. Oil temp (electric?) Legal? Sorry.

Pretty keen to know the exact rules on these as well. I know the guage pillar that sits above dash is definitely illegal in QLD. But whether the 3 gauge pod that sits on top, I'm not sure but have seen a lot of other cars with these. When I bought my 32 gtst my boost gauge was in the glovebox haha...

Yes, stainless. Weird, I called up 2 exhaust shops and they said no.. I'll keep looking, cheers for that.

I've just called up about 4 different workshops to get an adaptor plate & nipple welded onto my intercooler pipe... I also searched (this forum) and couldn't find anything for Gold Coast. They all say they don't do that "kind of stuff" None can even point me in the right direction.. Like what the f*ck Any help would be much appreciated! Cheers

I'm taking a guess here, is this a T2 flange? Need to weld my that BOV and a nipple to my cooler pipe. Didn't even think about the adaptor plate I needed...
