Sorry to hijack thread but also interested in getting some sway bars down the track.. No drifting.. Question is, how can I identify what sway bars are already ON the car? They look stock to me and can't find any markings. Edit: Maybe get some vernier calliper's and measure how thick they are?

Another update guys & pics. Found a nice crack at the bottom of my strut tower smothered in sikaflex.. Whoever "repaired" the rust on this car just stuck some sikaflex on there to hide it and I'm the lucky bastard that gets to cop it Here is a pic of the the strut tower & underneath after a couple of minutes of scraping.. Sorry for pictures I was on my second beer aha This was all I got done as it was pops birthday and didn't want to be the "unsocial grandson" lol Cut rust out of both rear guards and bent some back into shape, also found some nice sheet metal in the scrap bin I can use to weld in Also the hole at the bottom of rear window.. Anyone know and easy way to remove the rear window? Looks like its been put it with the purpose of never being removed again aha

That is why I asked the question.. I wasn't sure if it was normal or not for a powerful car.. I do also remember reading a build thread where the guy said he could go up hill in 5th quite slow.. But yeah if it's too much load on the engine, then that's my question answered.. Is there a way WITHout putting so much load? Cheers for the replies.

Hey guys. I remember when I was about 11yrs old going to a friends house. His older brother had an R33 gtst or GTR, I'm not sure.. But I remember he used to brag about being able to go uphill in 5th hear doing about 50ks or so.. I did witness this in the car not just him saying it, this is what got me into these amazing cars So my question is, is this possible? And if so, how is it done? Different diff ratio? Update, No pics. iPhone ran out of juice. Those 3 50c piece sized rust spots have turned into holes about the size of 10c piece.. I will be welding sheet metal in its place and cleaning it up. Found a mate that can respray my car after I fix up the rust ect. still not sure on the colour, I wanted to keep it the gold it is now, maybe a little darker.. But don't want too much attention from the police.. I know it's a skyline and either way they're cop magnets. So options are Gold, white then black.. Even considering the gun metal grey that it used to be I'll post up some pics this Sunday.

Are there different types? I only have a single black bar that sits in the middle of the HICAS system underneath my car.. These look very different.. Mine still looks stock on both ends, while these in OP's link look nice, black and shiny.
