Been a while since I bought my skyline with some goodies now.. (STREET ONLY I'm too scared for track, let alone going over the speed limit haha.. Seriously) Bare in mind I've only driven it about 5 times anyway. I've got a massive turbo.. Probably too big for street use, can only just get traction after turbo spools up if I'm feathering the throttle (around 5600rpm I hit full boost - T04e turbo) I know little about cars in general let alone a turbo import and not quite sure if what I did first was correct.. When I bought the car I paid too much for starters but I'm over that.. (It's gold and has some nice nismo badges etc. outside the car) Straight away I took it for a tune, it had a mines ECU I gained 79kw and 110torque for a hefty price. First tuner I've ever been to but he was pretty helpful. Since then I was pulled over and the cop let me off with a warning thank god.. For my atmo BOV, Screamer and too low.. Next day I took it to performance suspension to get it jacked up a bit to legal height.. Was my exhaust that was sitting waaaay too low but still on alright.. They knew my car aha and said it has pretty crappy coilovers in it, not sure if they just wanted business but anyway that ruined my day a little more So NOW it's sitting at home and I am not risking driving it as I do not have my opens..... Since then those goodies have piled up. I now have: -550cc injectors -kompact Turbosmart Plumback BOV -Yellow Jackets -Home-Made Pod Cover NOT on the car.. So that means I will have to go for another tune? Yes? Also I think it's a pretty CRAP FMIC and tuner said the piping is Restricting airflow because its too small.. Yay So what's a nice and big but not too big? Lol Also suspension? Looking at BC BR coilover herd alot of good stuff with softer springs for street use Really! sorry for being all over the place I am trying to be quick AND I got no screamer pipe at all it's just hot air straight to my turbos oil line -_- so I'm plumbing that back also, how much you reckon all this will cost me? Get my opens in November so I gotta start saving $$$$ QUICK EDIT After my 1st tune I was talking about I had boost tap installed and a chipTorque chip for the ECU

Got one on my r32 gtst type m.. Stalls every time coming down from high revs.. So I bought myself a Turbosmart kompact BOV. Yet to install.

Well I bought an r32 gtst a couple of months ago.. Needs a bit of work but couldn't be happier IMO r32's are the toughest looking

Yeah sucks for you man.. Department of transport F'ed up my licence (was suppose to be on opens march 13) found out that was INCORRECT. Exemption denied.. 208kw and needs stock turbo.. So currently sitting in my garage whilst I drive it up the street and back every second day -_- P.S. so pics of that exemption lol.. Or you are lying out of your bumbadoo

Just rang around some insurance companies.. I WAS paying $1650 premium with NRMA with my mum as owner but it goes off the youngest driver anyway, I'm 21. JustCar just quoted me $862 (lowest premium, highest excess) and $2200 excess.. Pretty stoked about that.. Got $1100 refund off NRMA also

So i just went to check the HICAS system at the rear under the car so i could start ripping it out.. and i already have a lock bar... LOL so yeah i'll either try get rid of this light the legit way, or just rip the globe out..

I know a bit about cars and working on them.. whoever had the motor before me replaced all the hoses.. looks like they did the 100k service to me but i'm not quite sure How much would just a stock turbo cost and would i be able to put the chip i have into the stock rb20 ecu (obviously will need another tune if i am change back to stock turbo.) And i mean eventually.. I know GTR's are expensive.. and i'll be off my P's at the end of the year.

Okay, So I recently bought myself a 93 r32 gtst type m, probably paid a bit more than I should of.. My first turbo car.. Anyway Thought I was getting my open licence in march ( was WRONG ) but I get them in November... Almost a year away The car has -T04e turbo (not sure spec) -Jap ECU with chip tuned by chiptorque (NOT mines) -Walboro intank fuel pump -220,xxx on the clock (supposably 158,xxx) -Pretty big front mount intercooler (not sure what brand) -Exhaust is alright I think just sits pretty low -pretty cheap coil overs And a couple of this pretty crap inside and out (visual) I got a new dash (in pretty good nick) Also some 550cc injectors and yellow jacket coil packs (not on yet) with the car I'm only on my green P's so I'm not quite sure what to do! Option 1. Fix up the car a little physical wise and try to sell it for more/what ive spent on it and save up for a gtr (r32/3/4 I don't mind ) Option 2. Fix up the car A LOT and go for the rb25 conversion into 32 (will probably be rebuilding engine if I do this option..) That's all I got -_- pretty low on cash at the moment and turning into a money pit already.. I know it's my fault I didn't check the car or whatever but it's "lesson learnt" I guess.. Also on the Gold Coast if any shops are any good/trustworthy ( i have a tendency of getting ripped )

Okay so my HICAS light came on driving to suspension shop the other day... Anything to worry about? I'm not mechanically minded as I'd like to be so I'm not going to try the DIY lockbar myself just yet.. Just wondering if it can fail and kill me? (probably a stupid question considering its for my steering..) cheers.

My first turbo car... Let me scream a bit lol Found out I don't even HAVE a screamer pipe.. It's shooting straight onto my turbo oil line and slowly making it brittle, so plumbing that back also. My exhaust sits 40mm off the ground when my car is 120mm high so might be getting a new one.. First r32 monster truck >_>

Well I've spoken to him again.. He said its no lie? I'm going to get him explain to me properly how he did it.. I'm only taking his word for it and is a family friend.. So I don't see any point in him lying. I'm just going to punch him in the head if my car pings out lol

My tuner said it will be tuned to whatever is in the tank.. i said i didnt think that was possible.. Anyway I'm over talking about my ECU, if my tuner has lied well.. I ain't going back...
