It all depends on the track. If you have multiple tight corners then it may be beneficial to drift, but if its something with a huge straight afterwards then no way would it be good to drift around that.
As someone said the exit will be slower but if you got another hard corner right afterwards then you have lost nothing.
Who cares anyway. To tell you the truth Drifting is just for show and for the thrill of the driver. If you want to race stick to conventional methods.
Well with my experience watiching all the drift videos and talk i have seen heard. And add this to general knowledge and sense
i believe drifting would be faster its just you would need incredible skill to do it, and as no one is perfect you will stuff up eventually and it wont be a little bush you will hit, you may wright off ya car + injuries to your self and others.
And then when you say the Super V8s, formula 1's would change there setup for drifting to go faster These races go for 40+ laps, The tyre wear is so great it is not worth it. You would need to pit only about 60 more times than any other "normal racing team"
Anyone heard of "Initial D" these are a great little jap series (cartoon) about drifting in the jap mountains.
So in all if you are circuit racing you will not drift as you will need to pit more often thats why no professional drivers use this.
How well do they check over your car, there not going to defect ya or anything like that is it.
Im guessing a general car check like brakes, tyres, and shit right. Also make sure nothing too illegal under the hood.
After a APEXi RSM or simular
The APEX'i RSM (Rev Speed Meter) will provide speed, revs, trip computer, battery voltage, 1/4mile, 0-100km/hr etc. If possible with the sensors to provide power figures.
Adam:uh-huh:
I don't know what they are called but they are an electrical device that can sense and give you a 1/4 mile reading but i can't find anything about them.
If anyone has one that they can recomend or knows any info about it could ya give me a yell.
Adam
Im looking for a exhaust system from the back of the turbo for my R33 GTST want one that sounds nice (not to loud) and performs really well. i wouldn't want it too big either (around 3")
Im open to all offers that are out there.
