  1. +1 EFI Performance for Nistune....or any tuning for that matter
  2. Your oil pressure follows revs. It is supposed to be on the 2 at idle and above 4 when over 3000rpm.
  3. The oil leak is what causes the gasket to fail. It's coming from the rocker cover gasket and has nothing to do with the pressure drop. $300 will cover the cost of the studs and the cost to remove the studs but you'll still have to find someone willing to remove the turbo an manifold. $600 is normal for that job The gasket costs $110, the studs and nuts are $50, turbo gaskets are $70 and you are looking at 4 hours labour plus whatever time to extract the broken studs. It's not an easy job and you will be very lucky to find someone willing to do it for $300. And if you do find someone, it is highly likely it will be a learning curve for the both of you.
  4. Take the bellhousing back off. There is a stainless washer that lives at the end of the cluster shaft. It is probably misaligned. You will find that it will probably not bind in gear anymore once you undo the sandwich plate bolts as pressure is then taken off the cluster shaft. To correctly put the bellhousing back on, get two blocks of wood the same thickness. Put them about 15-20cm apart so that the bellhousing can sit on them and so that when you put the rest of the gearbox in, the input shaft won't touch the ground. Put the washer into the bellhousing first, then drop the rest of the gearbox on top
  5. NPC - Nick's Performance Clutch Service Bigmouth Street clutch. They are an organic clutch and we have them in cars making 300rwkw. 6 months and heavy driving and no problems as yet. Have fitted 5 of these myself and had 3 more fitted by people I have sold them to. Priced extremely well also. Their number is 07 32779403. Ask for Doug
  6. Yeah the exedy one is not as good....it won't explode like a grenade
  7. And hopefully you aren't getting the clutch in the picture. That one suits a Toyota
  8. Usually up to 240rwkw is the maximum they rate them to. $390 is a good price but not the best.
  9. The quick reference quide has the answer to your question
  10. I'm too lazy to explain it
  11. Damn it, was on the phone to fatz and ya beat me to it Series 2 has 3 wires Series 1 has 4
  12. Series 1 R33 with the green label is identical to RB20 with the green label You can still use the series 2 AFM but a wiring mod needs to be done
  13. Call me on 0407 111 229 and I'll walk you through the process. I'm not taking the piss either. I do it differently to most so it's probably something you haven't considered yet
  14. Both ERD cars will rape whoever wins Yeah, I got nabbed for one but managed to talk my way out of it. If you do get caught, don't mention EFI to the cops or have a sticker on the car as they can be up for a $5k fine if they fit it. Make sure you do it yourself if you go down that road
  15. I fit the 100 cell stainless ones for $340. No flow problems with them at all. We run a 4 inch 100 cell on the GTR at 620rwhp
  16. You are probably just really nice to them when they pull you over so they don't push it any further. One asshole cop is all it takes. And the ratio of non-asshole traffic cops to asshole traffic cops is about 0:1
  17. Nothing to do with noise. It's the smell and gas flow that give them away
  18. + 1 Very easy to tell. All they need is suspicion and they can take your car off the road for an inspection at their insp. station. Then its up to around a $10,000 fine
  19. Personally I'm a fan of the Brittish Short-hair but I'm not really a cat person. Neither are my staffies.
  20. If you have already checked the hydraulic side of things, then it can only be clutch or gearbox. Both of which require the gearbox to be removed. Remove the gearbox and you will find your answer Also, all Skyline Attessa boxes (cept 34 GTR) are the same except ratios. R32 GTS4 ratios are quicker but apart from that, strength and compatibility are all the same in every one.
  21. between 9.8 and 10kgs The few I have weighed all come in at 9.9 and 9.98. 6-6.5kgs is the perfect weight for a lightened flywheel so you dont trade off torque but still gain response
  22. List of other mods including ecu type would help
  23. Possibilities are: broken pivot ball or fork clutch spring broken clutch plate spring popped out slave cylinder or master cylinder not holding pressure get someone to operate the clutch pedal while you look underneath the car. Watch to see if the clutch fork moves when the pedal is pressed and make sure it's getting 2 or 3 cm of travel. If it does, then remove the gearbox and find out what has happened. You may not be losing fluid but the master cylinder can still bypass the primary seal.
  24. There is no other way to tell unless you pull it apart
