  1. You need to get your facts straight. a GTR does not weigh 3.4k kgs and the Gen3 RX-7's are not 1205kgs. There is also no such thing as a 30B so stop making shit up.
  2. Disco is your friend then.
  3. I think you should tell me which one you were wanting. GT60R?
  4. You may have already tried this but I would recommend going to the R33 manual and following each step in the hicas diagnostic section. If you test everything and confirm everything then what else is there?
  5. Get it tested. It costs nothing to drop it on Dave's counter and have him check it for you if he is doing the work. A pressure test/ vac test and shave will set you back around $120-130. This is at least the minimum you should do. If it didn't get extremely hot then you won't really have to worry about major warping. A full head service including valve regrind shouldn't be any more than $600. Chilton Engineering is the only person I would use considering his total professionalism and quality of work. He will explain everything and show you any bits or pieces that were damaged or worn. Labour for a job like this is in the vacinity of 9-10 hours and you are silly if you just buy a head gasket. You WILL need inlet gasket and exhaust gasket. You WILL need exhaust studs and nuts and you will need to replace the thermostat. Depending on the gasket set purchased ( I recommend ACL ) you should find it to cost around $400-$500 for the full gasket set with everything ( including rocker cover gaskets and half moon seals ). I would say a general workshop quote should be around $2000 - $2200 to be reasonable. This is to do a complete and thorough job. $2500 would be on the high side but it would be fair to cover any unforeseen parts/damage. You could expect to replace heater hoses at the same time. Cheers, Daniel
  6. Quiet retardo! Anyway, who let you outta your cage?
  7. Hey Rush....you get your bits from Jap-land yet?
  8. Sweet. I finally get to sit down. Not a bad days work - 8am - 1am
  9. Use the bike lane....that's what it's there for.
  10. At least you're consistant. You seem to spell the same shit wrong all the time. Even if 'the same shit' = the entire english language.
  11. Shit man. Wouldn't be too hard I can't imagine. Not sure on cost. Start at $1000 and we'll trim it down from there hehe, just kidding. But really, too hard to quote. How does - cheaper than anywhere/anyone else - sound? cost will also depend on whether you want stainless or mild. Also, why does the exhaust loop around and come back on itself? That's a bit silly, or can it only exit from that side?
  12. What was the question? You asked if I did custom fab work and sent me some pics of the porsche.
  13. I suppose you are right. But then again, I don't use Nengun or Greenline. They DO take way too long. 3 months on my injectors a couple years ago and various lies to cover their arse. That did it for me.
  14. As if 4 weeks. I usually get parts (if the parent company eg. Nismo, HKS etc. have them in stock) within 7 days. Never more than 14 unless there is a stuff up with payment or something.
  15. Anyone got a bleed valve I can borrow?
  16. http://www.pureblonde.com.au/utopia/ how funny is that shit!
  17. Gimme 18K and I'll turn it into a reliable 700rwhp daily driver
  18. Aah. Finally can sit down and relax. Just finished stripping Benno's cylinder head. Ready for a touch up and then off to Chilton for an O/haul. Everything is coming together nicely and on time. At this rate I'll be able to make it to Rohan's Bathurst Watch Daniel Pull Engine Out BBQ. lol. Just kidding Roh.
  19. Check this out. Sorry, didn't work. And BTW, SARD injectors are one of the best injectors on the market. Just because they use collars on RB25 doesn't mean they are shit. RB20 and RB26 (decent engines) don't take collars. I would buy a SARD before a HKS or Nismo. Unless you have an RB25, then buy Nismo.
  20. And anyway. The only reason there are none in the country is because most people use 4 stage pumps....not this homosexual 3 stage crap.
  21. Your ghey arse boot setup parts are on their way from the US of A. Can anyone spell S H I P P I N G? Boats take a long time to sail the seven seas Shane. Geez!
  22. That's not a grin Chris, it's his redneck buck tooth. All Ipswichians have it. Hi Shane
  23. My GF's Mirage gets 700km to a tank around town. It's a 45L tank. I see your 9.3 and raise you 2.9 L/100 Current bid is 6.4 L/100...... Beat that you 180 bish
  24. Don't forget Shane, new legislation coming out prevents any street registered vehicle from having a 6 point cage. You will never ever get it registered, and if you do you will be defected pending removal. Try to make the front section removeable. Also, your bits are here. The tank and NOS kit will have to come from down south bud. P/W/sale didn't know shit and wanted to sell me a $1100 Zex system. Do you want me to get the other stuff up for you?
  25. It would cost less to buy a 34 4 door and drop a 26 in and do all the mods yourself. I didn't think the Japs would be that ghey to put a GTR badge on a GTT.
