I feel I need to settle something once and for all. DRIFTING IS A MOTORSPORT. And Shane and Noel....if you think it's so easy to link a few corners together and lose control (without coming off the track and clipping the apex and high speed)....why don't you get out there and do it. It is a difficult sport, and like any other motorsport, any challenge while two or more drivers battle it out is worth watching in my books. It's final....I'm starting a POLL! We'll see the results

What? Aside from my 6.5 hours sleep every night, I still get 2 hours break where I'm not working. Sif you don't envy me. Probably the best way to stop it from warping is to tak it in multiple places and fill between. Not the neatest option but should solve that problem. Also I assume you would be bolting it down to a hard surface while welding. Another thing to try would be to get out the oxy and, while it's bolted down, throw some even heat into it all over. Might need two oxy's lol. That should take most of the kink out. Finished product can then be taken to Chilton Engineering. He will be able to straighten and surface grind the finished product for a completely level surface. Aight?

Resistor pack will not work anyway. He already has Low Impedance...you don't wanna go lower. Sard injector collars only leak when installed incorrectly and are only used on side feed injectors. Noel has converted to top feed. Hey Noel, does Petey's sms still apply or have you sourced the injectors you need? BTW I decided to run the GT51R on mine now. That's because of head work. I keep telling people to think about porting and cam selection but it is rarely considered as important. The fact that stock SR camshafts have something like 10mm of lift and a nice midrange duration is the reason they bring the bigger turbos on faster. That and also being a 4 cyl helps due to the exhaust pulsation being stronger over a shorter time. 2.0L is spread out over only 4 cyl rather than 6. That's why the mines R34 GTR is so fast. Big lift, small duration, high compression, medium size turbos. Perfect for a quick car. No high boost required

Even so, to clear up something for everyone. Roadworthy does not depend on modifications done. There are certain guidlines that they must follow. Other than that, as long as the car is essentially safe, it should pass. If you have a blue plate for your mods, then they should not even need to be checked in a roadworthy Silly things pass like: You can have absolutely no baffling left in your rear muffler but if it doesn't exceed noise limits and there are no holes then it passes. No spare needs to be present. Only driver's side window has to work Oil leaks are ok as long as (after cleaned) they do not form one drip within 10 minutes. Surface rust is ok but can't poke anything through it. As you can see it's not like you have to have a new car to pass.

There's spending copious amounts on our cars, and then there's being ripped off. $10k to fit an already supplied turbo and dump and some tuning is the latter. Also charging $6000 for intercooler PIPING would be the latter. $15K from stock to 300rwkw with a forged bottom end, suspension etc. is what I call fair. They have done much research on the 30/40 IW and based on a 2.5L engine they should not suffer boost creep or comp surge. You can have the GT3076R done with the Skyline housings now for $2400 and they are rated at a good solid 500hp. Also be careful what is quote for the GT3076 and GT3071's because they come with optional exhaust housings. The 3076 can range in price from $1800 - 2200 depending on what option you take. And no option is a bolt on one. The 3071 is sold housing free so it's price is only around the $1200 mark. Then add your housing to that.
