Don't forget the alloy block is a bit of a nancy boy, it breaks to pieces after about 700hp. Then, of course, you have all the issues with the SR oil pumps. They rattle their arse off before taking a hike.

And let's not forget...that's almost a dry sump setup. Unless you do what Shane did and buy a pump that's come off a NASCAR. Then the pump is only about $350 but it's already had 10 hours at 8krpm

Yeah but the TB45E has a bore/stroke of 99.5/96 whereas the TD42 has a bore/stroke of 96/96 The 4.5 will not rev as high as the 4.2 and the rod length/stroke ratio is right on for maximum torque and still being able to see 8k rpm. How about a thread about my RB20 and how it would munch 90% of the cars on this forum.....and I didn't even touch the head yet. Not like Shane...he touches the head all the time....not hard when the head is 1 cm from the base I guess. And it's not going onto an RB20 either....I am building a hybrid engine that no-one has ever seen before. Shane thinks it's an RB20, Donkey thinks it's an RB25...hmmm, I guess we'll see. Cannot tell you what it cost me but you can get them for $1750 inc GST.

A company called BDG Motorsport They make custom billet rods too...some awesome looking stuff. Check out how tough these buggers look. bout $320 each I think.

This is the new dry sump pump I will be using on my 32. It is also the same pump I will be using on the JDM car I am building...of which Azzurra will be the driver . The pump is CNC machined of Aerospace grade billet 6061-T6 aluminium alloy. Just thought I'd show you guys. Hi Shane.

You won't be able to get one as they are line bored to match the head. The one you lend will not necessarily be the same as the one you get back May not fit Studs aren't available from anywhere really. You gotta use a M6 cap stud or something similar and tap the hole out to suit You can helicoil too if you like
