  1. The pumps are the same. The idler and tensioners are the same also. Oil pumps are the same. Cam and crank seals are all the same. Timing belts are the same. hmmm....I could go on
  2. If you take it to Matty spry he will just hire Dyno Sources' 4wd dyno so you will still get the best tune possible. Gavin is top notch also.
  3. What is different about the turbo struts that make them not fit?
  4. I don't need to tell them that, they told me that. Here, have their number...maybe you can use it.38639892. You will need to be transfered to the mods department.
  5. Set aside around $600 for block work and the same for headwork plus extra for porting, valves, etc.
  6. It is actually not illegal. Just have to have the cabin sealed from the boot or the tank and pumps enclosed in a box.
  7. I don't know why everyone keeps going on about the stock sender being crap. They are one of the best designed units I have ever come across. The most accurate and mostly the longest lasting out of any of the turbocharged cars. Just because it is a common problem now...doesn't mean it's a crappy sender. 17 years old don't forget. If only other things made these days were built to last that long.
  8. How would you suggest to accomplish such a thing by any means less dodgy? BOV's aren't illegal anyway so I don't even know what all the fuss is about.
  9. It doesn't really matter what turbo as it can stay in the same spot, but the manifold is what makes all the difference. I would just wait until you have mounted the manifold and turbo and most of the time you just need to run some longer P/S hoses or re-route the stock ones.
  10. Hey mate, just go to clark rubber and buy some thin filter foam. Then you just wrap it around the bov and put some rubber bands or zip ties around it to hold it on.......mmmm zip ties.
  11. Does the POWERFC have an error code function?
  12. I don't know for certain that it is that but I have seen it a couple of times and it is usually in conjunction with excessive levels of knock. The PFC manual does not say anything about it.
  13. Ok I believe it is a knock warning. I think you have some kind of knock warning level set in the PFC. You can change it with the datalogit software but it shouldn't display that exhaust temp light until knock of about 50 or 60.
  14. The power FC uses it as a warning light. I will try to find out what it means, stay tuned
  15. 110MPH trap speed would usually indicate a low to flat 12 potential. Keeping in mind you would need a perfect take off.
  16. Well if you have a way that it can be done I suggest you hold on to it and sell it to the numerous tuners who would like to be able to but cannot.
  17. As far as I know the Rb25DET ECU cannot be remapped. Although you can call DR DRIFT on 0425818755. He does the remapping all over Australia.
  18. I can get you JE pistons, JE rings, eagle H beam rods, NDC big ends and NDC main bearings all for $3000. Let me know.
  19. Why put shit on people? Who knows, he may be able to help you out some day. And then when you have almost exhausted all reasons for him helping you because you are constantly putting shit on him.....he'll help you out again....and then you will shit on him again. Maybe eventually when you look back on your life in a couple of years, you will realise you have no friends for that very reason.
  20. I believe it's called 'coking' but not sure if it is spelt that way.

Was that a statement or a question?
  22. Have you changed your fuel filter or checked the fuel pump recently? Adding more fuel when there is none available will only serve to make the problem worse. Just a thought.
  23. The factory fuel pressure reg is fine. With the mods listed you should easily see the 240rwkw mark but don't expect boost levels under 18psi. And if you are running the stock turbo, forget about anything above 215rwkw.
  24. You have an aweful lot of faith in the stock pump SK. I think I've seen about 8 out of every 10 nissan pumps fail while on the dyno. I know you were just answering his question but I don't think many of the stock pumps will flow those rates any more.
