  1. I'll be there Shane. That's one monkey. Or should I say ape?
  2. I regularly have 32's coming in for around 10-13k complied. If you email me, I will send you photos and prices when I get them from my Importer.
  3. I don't have MSN installed so I couldn't tell you about the BBQ party. Sorry mate.
  4. NA_R33 has a heap of spare parts...you could try him.
  5. I thought they were in Woolloongabba. Do you know if they have moved or do they have multiple locations. They are quite good and do many of the strong RB box rebuilds out there.
  6. Fun until you hit another car or person.
  7. If you want track pads then your starting price usually is around $180 for a basic set. Top of the range street pads can set you back around $100. The part number is DB1170 for the front and DB1220 for the rear. Track pads usually use their own part number but it's listing is still based on that number. R33 skylines are the only different one, they use a DB1165 on the front and a DB1220 on the rear. R34 is the same as 32.
  8. Repco and Coventry can get them. The company that makes them is Garmax...the part number is JS100 or something like that. If you are in Brisbane you can call repco springwood on 07-3208-5000, ask for Andrew or Lee and they should be able to sort you out. If you are doing a turbo upgrade I would assume you need the Turbine housing gaskets, not the manifold...unless you are doing the manifold one as well. The turbine housing gaskets are T3...or the HKS GT2530 also comes in T25. But Skyline is T3....any good performance shop should have them on the shelf. Also T3 turbine in is different from T3 turbine out so you'll need two different ones.
  9. your car takes the record for longest time to remove a friggin broken exhaust stud.
  10. wow, that must be a relief....for the guy that did the work. rofl.
  11. Metal head gaskets are not as durable as the OE fibre gasket but should be good for quite some time. If you get the good cometic ones as cubes did, they last virtually indefinately.
  12. Q45 AFM's are 90mm from memory...should be no mistake there. I believe they have a yellow sticker as well. There is a thread all about this in the QLD section or the general maintenance section. Try a search if you're unsure
  13. Do people still live up there?
  14. Up there fa thinkin.
  15. Don't want anyone to take this the wrong way but it must be said. It's all well and good to have the club event of a movie outting but we are there to watch and hopefully enjoy the movie that we are paying nearly $30 a ticket for (plus food). It would make it seriously frustrating for me if I cannot enjoy my $30+. I know how we can all get in a group and think that it would be better to leave the shouting out and 'movie hooning' for when the DVD comes out and we all go round to Rhino's house for a BBQ..... Not saying that the above quote had intended this as it's message but it's the nearest thing to it so sorry if misunderstood. I would just rather voice my opinion now rather than people be shocked when I drag them out by their ear. ....end rant....
  16. Yeah it's quite nice but the only complaint I would have is the seats don't recline. Kinda know where the extra $8.50 goes when you have to sit upright the whole time.
  17. How were you driving it at the exact moment it happened?
  18. Why don't you buy direct from PWR...they are down the coast. I have been buying from them for years. R32 GTR coolers are like $750
  19. I am going to try to make my own 'bio-unleaded' petrol in my garage. Aparently you can store up to 200L of ethanol on a residential premesis! I propose my prices to be 50C/litre....only problem is...the octane rating is only 65 so you have to put in 10 octane boosters to get the full effect. Mass production begins in 2010.....anyone interested?
  20. Toluene is not adviseable...I believe it is carcenogenic so if you are using it, make sure you are properly masked and do not get any on your skin as it can be absorbed that way also.
  21. What other mods do you have to do a time like that? Obviously we're not talking about an unopened engine.
  22. The GCG highflow will still hit full boost at around the same time as a GT30R with the 0.6 rear. If you want anything over 240rwkw then you will need cams. The highflow is ok but I would like to hear from anyone who has actually got one to 260rwkw. The most I have seen is 240rwkw and running 20psi boost. The GT30R will make the same power on 14psi. Sure you have to spend more money but what's the use of doing a half arsed job. The only thing I regretted about the upgrades on my cars was not doing them the way I wanted from the start. Always went for the cheaper option to save a buck then ended up having to spend even more later on as I wasn't completely happy.
  23. are you sure you don't just have a HKS front pipe on stock dumps?
  24. That may work but a better way to do it is using kerosene. Parts washer fluid does contain kero but it also has other products. Once in kero for 2 hours, place them in oil no thicker than 10/30 and soak for a further 12 hours. Fit and go. Should not require any bleeding.
