  1. Lol. I seriously need sleep. Powercruise has f**ked me. Let's just say.....fast
  2. Yeah my bad. I'm using an imperial calculator and that's MPH not KM/H. So with a 4.11:1 it's 178km/h at 6000rpm on a 235/45/17 and 170km/h on a 4.3:1
  3. 6000 tail shaft rpm is the same as 6000 crankshaft rpm in 4th gear. That's 111km/hr I'm pretty sure.
  4. If you aren't having a problem with the shaft you have, why change it? You will feel a vibration before anything worse happens. It also depends on the material it's made from and how it was made (which is explained in detail in this thread). If your shaft maker has made it from the correct material for the length and diameter then it might be perfectly fine
  5. Circumference?
  6. Considering the lower part of the block is the same, the bell housing is the same dimension and the flywheels are the same dimensions, I would have to say yes. I have never fitted one personally though. Your chances of it fitting are high. Can you borrow a second hand one to test?
  7. The real problem here is that no one has called Nissan to inform them of their design flaw. They clearly over spent on the much more expensive 2 piece design when they could have saved all that money making 1 piece shafts. Forget engineering rules. This is obviously an oversight on their behalf. Someone should notify them
  8. I'm fairly sure steel has a fatigue life. Albeit probably less than aluminium alloy but it would still have some type of fatigue life
  9. LMAO! Perfect demonstration of a lack of knowledge about these engines. 1. RB26's have a higher rev limit. This number is calculated based on many different engine measurements and is still used today as a guide of an engines 'strength' 2. The oil pumps are identical 3. Maintain the car properly and you won't smash anything or need to rebuild.
  10. I'm pretty sure they are M10 x 60mm or 65mm. Measure the bell housing thickness where the bolts go through and add 15mm then add a spring washer to your bolt. That should give you 12mm of thread.
  11. However to answer this guys question, the turbo Rb25 gearbox from an R33 will bolt up and uses the same clutch as the N/A Neo. You need to get rid of the auto spigot from the back of the crank and put in the bronze spigot for the manual instead. The tail shaft is also different so you will need the turbo shaft
  12. That is incorrect. The turbo Neo uses a pull type clutch whereas the non turbo Neo uses the earlier push type setup. The bell housings have the same bolt pattern but they are most definitely not the same bell housing.
  13. We've broken 2 x N1 oil pumps on cars that were doing engine run in. No limiter bashing. Read the old threads. Stay away from N1 pumps
  14. No I mean the diagram just looks like a standard 5 pin relay setup. Nothing special. Or was the purpose of the diagram to explain how a relay is wired?
  15. That just looks like a standard relay setup.
  16. Sell your GTST and buy a corolla. It's all that can be done for you now
  17. Absolutely. Run a new wire from the battery and a relay. Make sure the wire is 6mm and just trigger the relay from the stock power feed.
  18. RB26 and Neo don't count. They respond better to an exhaust gear. Others do not
  19. But mates rates is like the bartering system. We use the bartering system don't we?
  20. Exedy make the standard clutch so whichever one you pick as long as you don't go over its power or toque limitations then you will be fine. For everything under 190rwkw I would put in the standard NSK-7056 or the NSK-6797 but everything over that but under 240-250rwkw go the heavy duty. Labour you will expect 3.5hrs Flywheel Machine can vary but usually about $50-70 depending on who you go to. I charge $66 but I've gotta drive 15mins to the machinist lol. Replace the rear main seal with a genuine one at about $65 and put in a new spigot bush at about $5. Neither of those come in the clutch kit. It might also help people if you tell them what location you are in?
  21. You're all c*nts. Now come at be bitches
