yeah, so then you come to me and say "hey Dan, can you buy me one of those super dooper cat's from your work for $170?" And I say sure...no problems. You could go the ultra high flow cats which are now available. They are around $240 and flow an extra 40% or so. They are a much larger body though so you have to be aware of space for it.
-
You forgot Step 6. Get pulled over by transport inspectors who tell you your cat is hollow because of the poisonous gases bellowing out the back and Step 7. Get fined up to $5000 depending on how 'aware' you were that it was hollow.

yeah, kids are fine. I had to read the boy a bedtime story but he skidded off to sleep pretty quick

"Money on the fridge wog" Just kidding...hope you aren't greek or something lol. I don't know how much freight would be to Tassie. You might be able to ask thepost office...I rarely have time to stop in on my busy schedule.. They are still 2 or so weeks away. Garrett have a huge order coming in.

Hey!!....this thread was about me remember...let's keep it that way. or do you guys wanna exchange some vows or something?

$170 each and you can have as many as you like 3" high flow Brand: Carsound. Have been running 18psi and lots of hard time on this one for 2.5 years now and is still good. My car runs rich as a muther and it is still ok I work at Midas Woolloongabba but am currently filling in for someone at our Capalaba store. And then you can have it fitted also. Depending on the car and setup...fitting won't be more than $80

All taken care of people. I had the right bolt. She resisted a bit but came off eventually. Hopefully he sorted out the rest of his dramas before he had to go back to work.

Forget your computer.....I am in your house right now!!

Yeah, I can help out. I work for Midas at Wolloongabba. Don't wory about that though. I would recommend Chapman and Chapman. Andrew is very switched on with all things performance. Can be on the pricey side though. Charlies I wouldn't take my car to though. Personal experience and also a mates. They don't really do the right thing by their customers and will bullcrap to you if you don't know what you are looking at. Motsons are also good, I know them fairly well and they do a pretty good job. Also on the pricey side with some things. I can do your servicing through work and know quite a lot about all of the Skyline series but it's really up to you to try a few places and see how you like them. You may not find your preferred servicer right away but you will eventually. It's your baby and you need to look after it. You don't need to be fed crap form salesman or shops that want to sell you upgrades constantly. What you do need is someone who will look after you car, do the right thing by you, answer all your questions, do a good job, do what you ask them to do and offer good advice. All I can suggest is to try a few places, see how you like them and decide from there. All of the above are capable of doing the job but whether they do it right by you is what makes the difference.

Should be mid-late next week or early the following. Hopefully he won't stuff me around but if you say you want one, I'll get it in for you. Just say the word.

0.82 and 1.06 that I know of but there could be some more. On the 0.82 you would get your boost coming in at around 3300-3500. But it punches more air than stock skyline turbos so running 10 psi will feel like 16 on the standard highflow one. A GT40R comes in 0.95 and 1.06. Only good if your engine is putting out more than 400hp by itself.

2540 is still one week away. GT30 and 35r's are still two weeks away. Everyone has run out of stock so I am waiting on new arivals. Sorry it has taken me so long to reply, I have been running the shop while the manager is sick and have been back til 8 every night. I know this is no excuse but I'll try to clear up all previous questions in my next post.

It is confirmed. Microsoft do as he says. I have checked with my uncle who works for them. He said that any technician with the authority can access any windows system. He even seems to think it can bypass firewall also. It would not surprise me, I mean, after all, for how many years did AWARD BIOS's have the same default password which could over-ride any supervisor password. Software and hardware developers are making this type of thing more and more every year. It is what I call the "mischief factor". You may not ever use it, but you could have a lot of fun if you wanted to. It just gives them a little more power over the end user. Microsoft would have this in effect to worm out any un-registered or unlawful users. Microsoft, although not directly, actually program half of these worms which infect our systems. We blame hackers and commend M/soft for producing a patch to help us when in actual fact they are the ones producing the threat in the first place. That is why most of these worms become harmless after a certain date. They don't want to totally screw everyone forever. Back when I was playing with viruses, I never EVER saw a decent one that programmed itself to become in-effective after a certain date. Which brings me to my next point.....Does anyone else think there is a conspiracy with radio broadcasting to get people to join the army. I mean, you set your alarm on radio, it is perfectly fine when you go to bed. Then when you wake up, it's like fuzz that you can't hear. Therefore, you sleep in, you are late for work like 6 times in a row, you lose your job and find that the only way you will get anywhere in life is to join the army coz no-one else will employ you because you sleep in through all the interviews. Now you have to ask yourself. Is he insane?, and if so do I take any notice of the first part of his message. and if I do, does that make the second part true. What if the whole lot is bullcrap? hmm it's hard to tell. How about we go back and read the other posts and then we will be able to determine the sincerity of my most recent outburst. I know...even I am going WTF right now but my backspace key is broken and I couldn't be f#$ked changing al this 5hit I just wrote. Goodnight.

We could hold a special cruise to show you the sights. A kind of Tour Cruise. We could pick out a few special landmarks around brissy and Gold coast and show you around, and around, and around and then we get dizzy and all go boosting home. Just a thought. -
Yeah, John is a good bloke

It can do but probably not in your case. That turbo is fairly big from memory. What is your turbine A/R? (it should be written somewhere on the turbo exhaust housing....usually near the dump pipe side.) What A/R is the compressor housing? What other mods do you have? And what RPM is your boost coming on full?
-
I would also be willing to help you line your marks up if you like. I have done that many of them in the last few months it's not funny. And I mean it....it's not funny. Let me know if you need any other tools and I'll see what I can muster up.

I will help. PM your address and I will come out tomorrow arvo with one. Only problem is the thread on the bolts I use for the nissans is wrong. I kinda just wind them in till they grab. if you want to, you can go to the bolt shop tomorrow and get two 10cm bolts that fit into the thread. if not, I can still get it off anyway.

Back fires rough idle after filling up

It is very possible that the vacuum from your engine was drawing fuel from the tank and up to the purge canister. This would have been caused by the lack of pressure hold in your fuel tank. Good work for solving your problem. I apologise for not getting back to you sooner as I saw you were getting on top of it and I got very tied up with my turbo conversion. -
I only ever run such copies....I mean, I know a guy that has a cousin that knows a guy. Yeah that's it. He has never payed a cent for any software in his life.....ever. Maybe that's why he has the same problems that I do. Maybe there is a team of Nazi Koalas with secret key combos that are infiltrating his system.

Should be able to on Tuesday. I'll have to find out if he still has some on the shelf or if he has to order it in.

Women, 4WDs and carparks....... a recipe for disaster!
The Dan replied to jlnewton's topic in Queensland
What you have said is correct, except that EVERYONE has a choice. Yes, you can choose to carry a gun around with you. Yes you can go into your Nissan dealer and ask that. Yes you can booby trap your home or create your own government if you CHOOSE to do so. The key to my earlier point, though, was that everyone has a choice, but with it carries a responsibility. If you choose to carry a gun on your hip, accept that you will be arrested by police. If you choose to booby trap your home, accept that the mailman might get pi55ed and you will be up late every night wondering if your wife made it to the fridge for a glass of water. Or that you may injure or kill an intruder and be prosecuted accordingly. I stand firm in saying that everyone has a choice, but with it carries a responsibility. 4WD owners have a responsibility to be more careful and aware of others on the road. And yes, if they choose to have a bullbar fitted, knowing that they kill people and they never go off road, they should be prosecuted with manslaughter. Think of it this way. You can carry your gun around and maybe no-one will catch you. But what if a normal person sees it and yells "gun!" and tries to remove it from you. There is a struggle and the man shoots himself. You will be charged with manslaughter. Not because you shot him, but because you brought the gun that did. If the gun was not there, he would not have been shot. Same with bullbars, if it wasn't fitted, the person MAY not have died. You could only take that so far in court though. It's the choice that makes the difference.
