I think you're both missing the point that it's made of titanium. The reason for them choosing titanium for an exhaust material is pretty obvious but the reason for lobster-backing the pipe is because of the almost impossible bend-abilitiy of titanium. They can't use mandrel bends. The weight saving outweighs (no pun intended) the flow capability of the pipe

The first two lines were for you. The second two were for LS128 -
Looks like the earlier HKS unit but it's very hard to tell. HKS had the flexible bellows there and they did a nice Y style collector as opposed to the trust/greddy ones that have a U shaped collector

The rear section of it pulls apart from the front section. I assume they wanted everything coming out in the same place and/or rules/restrictions in the class they are racing in

I'm pretty sure 90% of the people posting here don't know what the f**k they are talking about or why. They are just regurgitating what they have read somewhere. Split or bellmouth makes stuff all difference when you make tiny amounts of HP. The fact that it's 3inch makes it shit and means that you are definitely making less than 400hp at the wheels anyway. Say you put on the bellmouth and make 50rpm better response? The next guy doesn't or he fits the split dump and say he buy s a cheap ass one from China and it doesn't fit correctly or he fits it at home and does an awesome job. There are just as many people saying the split dump is better as the people saying the bellmouth is better. They are the same - Comparable results aren't comparable.

Clutch Slave Cylinder (Maybe) R32 Gtr

@ LCXU105 - Oh you meant you push the pedal down and it's only hard for 20mm of pedal travel? I thought you were referring to the slave cylinder which is what we were talking about If the clutch is bled and adjusted correctly then the only other thing that can cause it to pull the car forward when you start it in gear with the clutch down is if the clutch plate is bent (usually from improper installation by people on the ground hanging the box off the back of the engine for too long) -
not that cheap....same as here http://justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=17009&cat=276&page=2

Welcome mate. Get in contact with Fineline for cruise details. He runs some pretty awesome tours around our finer areas

Sorry I forgot you had a GTR. Disregard the ball on the pushrod comment - that is for GTST's only. It has the booster which you can't really go wrong with (unless you pulled the booster pin out) -

You have an adjustment problem. There is about 60mm of travel in the slave. you need to be able to force the piston/pushrod back inside. It should push back in with very minimal effort. If it cannot, your clutch pedal is overadjusted. Get someone to wind the pushrod looser while someone else pushes against the slave pushrod. As soon as the piston can push back inside the slave, leave your adjusment there. If you are still having problems after that, you might have a master cylinder pushrod length issue or if you used the old pushrod on the new master cylinder sometimes the ball section on the pushrod from the factory master is larger than the cup section in the back of the master cylinder piston so the old pushrod holds the piston forward by a mm or so. This is all it takes to block the recovery port in the master and prevent back filling into the cylinder. If you used the old pushrod on the new master, I'd check that before adjusting the pushrod any further. -
I'm not sure if you're reading his comment correctly. I'm pretty sure he said it got started and run to op temp weekly.

You can get proflow fittings now with filters inside them. Worth considering also. Cuts the cost of filters down and you can put them in place of your regular fittings

No, I was moreso referring to the dozens of threads with every single piece of information necessary to determine which clutch you require. I'm definitely no expert. I just help a mate on weekends -
And the worst part is the government have completely overlooked what types of vehicles they are restricting. R32 GTST - capable of 0-100 in approx 8 seconds R33 GTST - capable of 0-100 in approx 8 seconds Both have a top factory speed of 180km/hr (fast enough to kill a group of cyclists) The 32 is appropriately braked for the weight of the car and the power of the engine but has no ABS or airbags The 33 is not allowed but it comes with ABS and airbags - clearly not the safer option for our youth Now I hear they are thinking of reducing the speed limit in some zones to 30km/hr. How many people are being hit in these f**king 40-50km zones that they need to reduce it further? Are we talking about the 5% of bad drivers that speed through these zones or the rest of us who get caught doing 5km over? Do we have to start firebombing some parliament houses so these f**kheads get a clue of what the real issues are? 1. Inattentiveness 2. Lack of skill or control 3. Unaware of current road rules yes I said bomb. Bombbombabombbombbombabomb

You don't need to overcome anything. It's not a problem -

I have no idea where on earth you would get that kind of information. I'm not even sure who around here would know. Maybe the Skyline UK forums might have some info? -
How the f**k is that de-motivational? I'm motivated, I don't know about the rest of you guys

Clutch Slave Cylinder (Maybe) R32 Gtr
The Dan replied to ls128's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Yes, push it manually. You are pushing the slave cylinder pushrod back inside the slave cylinder. If it's locked in place or can't be pushed far, it's over adjusted and the master cylinder internal cup seal is blocking the recovery port which means its over adjusted. If you can push it all the way back inside then you have another problem (assuming it's bled correctly - if not bled correctly, it will feel spongy by hand) -
Garrett -5S Vs -10S Or Other (Tuned On E85)

Also guys I'm not a forum trader and I don't know if any other traders for SAU are Garrett distributors as I haven't had time to check but I can't sell you stuff here and I cannot advertise prices here as it's not fair for those paying money to do business here. I have and always will look after SAU paid club members (from ANY state) but please understand if I don't plaster prices everywhere here as there is a reason for it. I have been involved/helping the club for 10 years now but I can feel the ever watchful eye of Nismoid burning into my ass right now -

Hi mate I got your email. I'm not ignoring you but I'm currently booked out until September 5th so getting in to reply is something difficult to do (especially because I don't want to give you a 1 line reply) You being local is a bonus for test fitups so I'm organising a pair to be sent to me for a test fit if you are willing Are the manifolds on the engine at the moment? -
We have several engines (both our race cars and another half a dozen, at least, built this year) that make 115-120psi cold idle The race cars have track raced for years like this. Has the mechanic run the car to oil operating temp (70-80deg)?

So after reading my last comment you checked the slave cylinder pushrod can be pushed back inside the slave? -

Take it to someone who knows what they are doing. Adjustment sounds like it's incorrect. You probably can't even push the clutch fork back towards the slave cylinder - that is a clear indication of overadjustment -
Coolant Leak From Under Intake Manifold.
The Dan replied to Rolls's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
oh, I was fairly sure we sized the gaskets up and they were off by a little bit more than that. Also R.I.P.S had to make a custom plenum for a guy because they were different and he had to send them his Neo manifold. I will have to investigate now.
