  1. Sounds 02 sensorish <---- and yes that is a word, I just made it up now Check and/or replace You'll prob find the car is playing up in closed loop mode which is only under light throttle cruise
  2. Agree with Nismoid - stocker + TD06 = win
  3. The top ring can go either way, it is a barrel faced parallel ring from memory The second ring is a scraper so the ring is placed in the bore the same way you have it pictured. Cutout facing downwards. N2/2N or whatever it says - you should be able to read that from the top. I have a set lying around at home we were gonna bin. Brand new. What thickness are yours? or what part number ring set and bore size? Failing that - Wiseco are the distributor for CP nowadays
  4. zomg http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/365215-master-cylinder-query-r33/page__view__findpost__p__5827646 and +1, why reduce the size? that's gonna make the pedal so frickin heavy
  5. If you value the appearance of your top radiator support, take the gearbox off
  6. Unless you have a hoist, take it out the top after you remove the gearbox. With one jack and a couple of stands, you would never get the car body high enough to get the engine out from under it
  7. Aside from pretty much a de-dag on Noels ports, the only difference is his cams at 260 x 10.25. Even the valves are standard size
  8. Your seat will probably cease to be ADR approved if you do that. Also, you will need a mod plate once the brackets are fitted
  9. Yeah Gervase's (Strik3r) R33GTR has one. On the dyno sheet I have for him here, he was making 1 bar at 105km/hr in 4th Don't know the rpm though. I think is was somewhere around 3900-4000. He has a big port tomei cam head. Standard bore and stroke. Picked up about 400rpm response as opposed to the T04Z....and made a little more hp
  10. Nismo don't do an upgrade for the master cylinder Nismo do a big bore SLAVE CYLINDER. Factory standard on the slave cylinder is 3/4. To get a lighter pedal feel, you enlarge the bore size on the slave by one size (3/4 up to 13/16. You also get less effective pedal travel with the enlarged bore slave so be careful with heavily modified clutches with a lot of pivot mod for extra clamp. They already have a deficiency for pedal travel due to the pivot being so far. That, combined with a large bore slave 'might' cause you issues when it's trying to disengage The master cylinder (which is what you asked about) is 5/8.
  11. Yes it was a little more responsive. Noel also doesn't have VCT but same engine spec basically + E85. He was making 20psi by about 3900 but with the car having dump pipe issues and not being able to control it, we've had to slow it down a little. Once it's finished it should be more responsive than that graph up above It's more insane how early it comes on. We are loving this new turbo. I'm putting one on pretty much everything that wants to make near 500hp. They are a lot bigger in size but just as responsive as the 35R and edit: a lot more responsive than a Z. Win win if you ask me
  12. Yeah that's true but the car in question supposedly has over 1200hp at the wheels
  13. VCT isn't hooked up on this engine. Has the solenoid but no exterior oil feed. Budget build I did for someone about 3 years ago And yes, agreed, VCT would be awesome.
  14. Also forgot to mention, Noel actually made 540hp on the same boost as this one which points to better cylinder head work as well
  15. Here is the dyno graph from Aaron's R32 GTST. Noel's has still gotta go back to the guy who did his exhaust to fix the dump and we also think his gate is a bit ordinary so it is making it a tiny bit lazier than this one. The specs on this one are: R32 GTST RB25/30 Standard hydraulic cylinder head with Pon Cams No VCT connected GT3788R 0.89A/R HKS 800cc injectors Microguess LT10 Blitz ID3 EBC Just Jap 100mm intercooler Full 4 inch exhaust with screamer You can see it makes 10psi by about 95kms. If we had VCT on it would be making 1bar before then. Noel has much better specced camshafts for this turbo also so when we held the gate shut, it was actually making 6psi at around 2800 and 1bar at around 3500-3600 I should have Noel's new one once we get his small issues sorted out
  16. I'll try and get one up for you today time permitting
  17. lol, I can get a camry to read 1200hp. Not saying it doesn't make a lot of power, just saying it doesn't make as much as they claim...unless ofcourse, he backed off at the end like someone said. I don't think I'd post a 11sec run on youtube if I did one with that much hp
  18. That's the point, he never showed me anything, He's real good at running around like a school kid dropping smart ass comments but when you call him out on it he backs out and runs away. You never answered any of the questions I asked you on injector size or open time and did nothing but comment on how many dynos read the same figure. I told you before, until you have PROOF of your claims, then don't make comment on advice I give or information I provide.
  19. Rev high = unreliable on a budget
  20. RB20/S1 RB25 should be the same. They turn the same way. RB30 is opposite
  21. Hey thanks for the plug. BTW, when I called you out on it via PM, you never got back to me with those figures? You might wanna back up your mouth with some facts before you get into an argument you can't win
  22. yep, absolutely no way. Even if it had a lazy take off (which it did) and has low 'average' power, it should still have pulled off 145 130mph just tells me the dyno figure you are quoting is low. At 130mph you should have 500-520rwhp (370-390rwkw)
  23. You mean you have a dyno sheet that says 520rwhp on 17psi with a T04Z.
