  1. Above coilpacks or behind front bar reo. Although the latter will get you in the shit if you have a front on. Other options are in boot, pasenger front quarter (although this means you won't be able to manually activate the valve so you should buy the electronic solenoid for it. You should also buy the 2quart one, not the 3, the 3 is about 50-55cm long I think
  2. People shitcan Commetic gaskets as well but we've run them without a single problem in boost apps exceeding 30psi. 26psi for 2 years straight racing. Nitto are a better gasket IMO. I think you're missing something
  3. ^^ What he said, although, I have NEVER seen a 'bolt on' -7/-5/-9/-10 turbo. Yes they bolt on with minimal effort but you still have to stuff around for ages modifying the oil drain as it fouls on the comp cover bolt etc. Other than that, direct fit Also think the disco has a larger comp cover and turbine housing so it definitely will not fit without custom manifolds
  4. Yeah it must be S1 I think. Definitely RB25 though. And OP, it doesn't matter which RB25 box it is, they all take the same spline tailshaft yoke same as Z32 300ZX
  5. The turbine can't get back up into the cylinder unless it's peaking off it's ringer. Is it possible you bounced off the limiter as it happened? Also, the piece looks to be cracked but has not dislodged. If a piece came away and went through the turbo, then you could blame that piece, but that piece is still attached inside. The valve seat could just be in the post casting. I have seen this many times before on standard ports. You won't know until you get the head off and inspect it properly.
  6. I keep looking at it and the more I look the more different it looks. It can't be Neo as it would have a pull style clutch which that one doesn't. It also has the speedo further back. I'll go take a pic and see if I can post one up of a 25 box. The problem is that there is nothing to compare it's size to. If you had an RB20 box beside it, you would instantly know
  7. Duuuude!!!, you paid it on Wednesday. You didn't know you had to carry the receipt in the car with you. Their system doesn't update for 2 weeks so they can't disprove it and have to give you the benefit of the doubt.
  8. I came across this after watching the tits do pushups. You don't have to watch the whole thing. Just tell me WTF is with the Zombie at the very start!!!!??
  9. Lambda 1 is stoich on all fuels
  10. Agreed....but I think 450 might be closer to the mark. Even a 35R on a Rb25 is only good for about 500rwhp
  11. Would you say it sounded more like a labrador or some sort of small terrier?
  12. Why is the VQ25DET a different kettle? It's an engine. It's good to be able to make those adjustments yourself but what about the people who don't know what they are doing? With the appropriate ECU, it does it for you
  13. What if the E85 sensor packs it in? What if a massive comet comes from outer space and crashes into earth? As long as you change the sensor out every 100,000k or 50k if you are paranoid, then you will be fine. You could also argue about the e85 sensor and changing it out, but at $500 a pop?, hmm.
  14. This was already explained by Hyped6 about a page back. You use lambda as a reference input into the ecu and have it add fuel if it sees leaner mixtures above a certain rpm/boost level etc. You can put tables over tables over tables to achieve virtually any result you can think of
  15. I'd be careful laying blame publicly on forums. You are aware that piston to bore clearance is usually done in the centre area of the skirt? The piston is usually barrel shaped so it will taper at the top and bottom. They will always look like there is a massive gap when really that is the way it is supposed to be. Can't say much for finger tight bolts etc but good luck with your new engine
  16. Or you could save yourself the hassle and buy the V500 Ecu instead. It's pretty much the same price as the vipec/haltech/Autronic etc but does so much more. That's the beauty of running multi-controllers. Then you don't need the E85 sensor, you just need a wideband o2 which are approx $125-$150
  17. Might sound silly but have you actually checked for fuel pressure/flow yet? or are you just taking wild stabs in the dark?
  18. Just do an AFR over RPM table with a wideband then overlay that over a EGT over RPM table and have it pull timing out if it exceeds any parameter. Oh wait, you said Haltech. NVM
  19. dude, Noel has a 4B (although it is petrol and auto so kinda gay) and a trailer - if there is one man that has the ability to help you, it is this man. Money, coffee and surprise bumsecks is definitely something that will encourage him. Ring me if you need his number
  20. I don't believe there are any up here. Another company is Power Porting but they are also south. Won't cost much to ship
  21. A google search -> https://encrypted.google.com/search?hl=en&biw=1440&bih=785&q=extrude+honing+australia&aq=f&aqi=g-v1&aql=&oq= Returned these guys www.abrasiveflow.com Mobile - 0419 231 637 E-mail - [email protected]
