Yeah I got a new manifold gasket, turbo inlet and 12 new studs today from nissan, I figure if I replace them all its my best bet!
Does anyone use sealant on the ex gaskets?
I'm pretty sure I have a manifold leak and just need some quick advice. Here are the symptoms,
Fluttery / farting like sound from turbo area at idle. Might be from 4/5 cyl not really sure.
Under boost the noise is huge spool noise and air leak noise, kind of like how I would imagine the turbo boosting into the cabin.
Car seems to still make boost fine and does not come on late or seem to be laggy just very loud - sounds like a fast tractor!
From what I can tell it would be the manifold/turbo gasket (is that what it's called?) do repro etc stock these? Or should I be buying studs/manifold gasket?
I'm just really hoping it's not the turbo!

would have been keen if it was genuine Autech, hard to justify that high price bracket on a rs4? model even if it does have a 26 in it. you can get highly modified genuine 260's in the low 20's/high teens.

good luck with sale though but I think you may have to part out
only single plate in mine, had issues with bent fork and killing slave cyls. Going to get something more left leg friendly in a few weeks. Not sure what yet but the coppermix is def getting removed
