  1. i wouldnt say the fried rings and scoring to the bore is common among r33's. Its definatly not unheard of but that has alot to do with owners giving them a hard life.
  2. looks hot. I would definatly loose the sticker tho, but that's just my opinion
  3. I think many of those toolies have serious issues. I went with some friends down the coast last year during schoolies and there were just lil hardnut wannabes and drunk horny 16 year old girls everywhere. I dont care if there legal i was 19 at the time and i thought youd have to be sick for someone my age to take advantage of someone so young and drunk.
  4. I bought a cheap uhf awhile ago now and i think from personal experience that if you want to get one your better off paying abit more and getting a good one
  5. my theory is none of that will break and you should go hard
  6. you can take them to court over it then. Your car comes standard with a plumback bov. Your not adding anything new just changing it to a better one. The reasons why a bov is illegal is for emission reasons. there is no change to emissions with an aftermarket plumback
  7. nah no box because i made a fibreglass r33 sub box that fits in my boot. Located at mount cotton. will travel short distance to meet somewhere easier to find
  8. so are they making a badge or just a sticker? If its a badge i'd been keen to get a price on one.
  9. nice clean example buddy. You probably are running 1 bar of boost, its not unheard of for series 2 turbos to be running that much
  10. hey all sorry for the slow reply. Not sure what the retail is but i bought it from jb for like $230 after plenty of bargaining. According to there website http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_subs.php?series_id=16 its rated at 150wrms. I'm running 250wrms through it now and personally i think it could handle alot more. If anything it feels like i cant give it enough power. Jl has a reputation for under rating there subs
  11. i recommend bps in cleveland behind tyre zone. I went there after having a bad experience at hardcore and they did a really good job. There not as well known and wont show dis-interest because your not wanting to spend $10k in one go but they know there stuff. The main mechanic there as worked on alot of race cars and exotic cars like ferrari and porsche.
  12. you've got way to much time and money haha
  13. all you need to know is they're the best
  14. i want a cool signiture. i think someone should make me one
  15. look at me im post whoring!!!
  16. I'd happily buy a rx8 350z or mx5
  17. the hummer is a terrible idea and ill tell u why. We get so many brand new cars come into our work with complaints of noises in the dash, trims not lining up & plenty of other little imperfections. Everyone knows americans like everything big but they also cant build cars for shit. Nothing lines up, there is no quality control on anything & they drive like a bag of shit. People in australia are wanting there cars more and more like european cars where everything is perfect. If we start selling american cars there are going to be alot of unhappy people after sale
  18. i work for holden. After the amount of money & time it took to build the VE it's really not that special. Its brand new technology has been out for decades. It's like they called the monaro a unique car. They got the youngest training car designers just for fun and a training excerise to build any car they want. Its just a normal commodore with 2 big doors instead of four and a slightly wider wheel base :S What sort of imagination do these guys have??? Years ago Mitsuibishi designers developed a car that would drive and steer itself. There's lots of things wrong with the VE to but in Holden's defence, there selling a shit load of them
  19. i've done a advanced driving course at mount cotton & it was great. It has got me out of trouble a few times. It's not just about preventing you from doing something stupid but largly about avoiding an incident when someone else does something stupid. If someone cuts you off or is about to hit you, you learn to react quickly in a safe matter to get out of the danger area.
  20. bump
  21. hey now this has all been brought up, people keep saying burnouts should be kept for the track. Does that mean for example the track day on the 25th, if i wanted to i could bring my stockos and do a smoke show & donuts in the middle of the track while everyone else is off the track watching or atleast at a safe distance? Or would that be frowned upon as well becuase its using up precious track time? Dont mean to be controversal just seeing if you really do save it for the track or just use that as an expression.
  22. just start today. Youll have enough time.... come on, you know u wanna lol
  23. the rain is boring. Cant do anything, it makes you tired and the redland bay damn isnt low so i dont care haha
  24. fulcrum are good if you buy the products they want you to buy. If you dont want the setup they want to sell you there generally not that helpful. to add as an example they told me tein suspension is more expensive than imported japanese brand coilovers because theve been modified to australian roads. That japanese coilovers are too stiff for australian roads and wont last. First i thought well thats dumb because i want stiff suspension and then secondly i was driving on japanese made suspension already caust it was a japanese car :S
