  1. ow yeah thats why i added u to my msn lol
  2. hey i'll buy em for $200 pickup depending on condition of rims. let me know
  3. do 32's have the same stud pattern as 33 gts-t? would u sell for $400 pickup?
  4. do you have pics? how do they blend into the rest of the car body or does it just sit over the top with an obvious step?
  5. hmm i dont think you can put gtr injectors in a 33 gts-t. bumma
  6. hey how negotiable are you? Have they been leak tested & flow tested? If so i may be interested
  7. hey dont leave me out i wanna go rolling with the firty two's
  8. cheers thanks heaps
  9. hey. the damage wasnt major but one of the tooth was dinted and the metal had been pushed out so it would of cut away at the belt. i dont think it was damaged in transit because it was packaged very well. I rang up and mentioned my issues with just jap today & they were happy to refund me for the cost of both the cam gear & the postage. Once again i'm very happy with the service
  10. hey i just got mine today. one is chipped and damaged but i'll ring up tomorrow & i'm sure just jap will happily exchange. one question tho steve you only sell these as a set so i assumed i could use both but ive been told that 33's have vct on the intake side & these cant be used. this means ive paid $300 to use one cam gear. Do you know if this is true or not? i'm hoping ive been told wrong
  11. thanks for that. sounds like the best idea is to try and keep the fuel pressure the same & keep an eye on fuel pressure during w.o.t if it drops then the pump cant produce enough flow and should be upgraded. sound about right?
  12. the bride inserts looks trick. you should get some bride bucket seats to go with them & sell me your gtr seats
  13. really you can remove anything. its fitting the new cam gear back on thats the challenge
  14. looks awesome. your going to have a fun time keeping it shiny. i got a titanium exhuast on mine and its dull
  15. i'm probalby wrong but im kinda stunned that no one can belive the stock turbo can handle more than 12 pound. i know the series 1 turbos couldnt handle high boost but the series 2 turbo has stronger internals and i've heard of people running huge power with the stock series 2 turbo. even if you just browse through the section on the forum where people post there mods and dyno outputs there are heaps of people on there that purchase bigger turbo but then they dont have the fuel system to go with it so really there not putting out huge numbers either. there are plenty of 33's with smart mods but stock series 2 turbos that put out good street power.
  16. gcg have there exchange turbo system where they strip the internals and do upgrades using the standard housing so fitment is easy, but i'm assuming its more than 2 grand since youv already spoken to them
  17. I dont see how having less overlap can make the car go slower. if anything it'll just be rougher at idle. I have a series 1.5 so thats a real bumma. i'll see how its mounted maybe i can remove the vct on the inlet and put the adjustable ones on. i relise you'd know more than anyone 3lit3 it just seems weird thed sell them in sets specifically for my car. i'd much rather it be symetrical thats all
  18. i suppose in ways your right but what your talking about is really inefficent. what u want to do is to increase the overlap keeping it symetrical. u want the intake to open earlier and the exhuast to close later by the same amount. so really u want to advance the intake and retard the exhaust. Defintly do not time the belt incorrectly by one tooth because theres a big difference between the valve being open enough to pass gasses & the valves hanging down low in the path of the piston. In respect to do they make a difference i say yes. it works on the kadenacy effect. it already exists but you just take further advantage of it which is exactly how extractors work and we all know they make a difference. it's also what vtec does & we all know how much power honda can get out of a na 4cyl engine.
  19. hey interested. would u sell it for $60 including post to qld?
  20. i've heard of exhuast studs breaking on many skylines. it was probably a techline in japan
  21. i didnt know skylines had vct. i never even bothered to look. obviously they dont all have them because there normally sold in sets. when i get them i might just adjust it 2 degrees on each cam so theres 4 degrees extra overlap, take it for a spin then change to 3 degrees on each side and see which i prefer. i've already spent the money i might as well get as much power out of it as i can. Kadenacy affect is a great thing i think
  22. Hey all I own an r33 gts-t and i just got a new set of adjustable cam gears on the way from just jap & being a 3rd year mechanic i know how they work and all but i'm trying to find out how much overlap can be obtained before piston to valve clearance is compromised. I appreciate all inputs but i'd rather get a response off people who can give advice off facts about r33 skylines rather than just enthusiats working on there interpretation of valve timing in general. Sorry if that sounds rude. cheers
  23. the wheels make the car i think. i've always loved that style and never seen them in black before. that makes them even hotter!!!
