cost depends on how much u want done. you defintly want the bore machined to get the ridge removed, you can get the top surface of the block machined so its all the same height & better compression, you can get the crankshaft tunnels machined to fix twisting of the block but thats very x'y and i doubt youll notice the difference. I'm assuming your getting new cams so you dont have to worry about that but you can also get your crank machined to eliminate ovality and taper but if you can find a bigger crank maybe out of a rb30 or something along with longer and stronger con rods you wont get a longer stroke but youll get more mechanical advantage hence more power.

any workshop should have the tool to do it. make sure u do a wet test and a dry test. if the wet test fails its the valve seats if the wet passes but the dry fails its the rings

hey what happens if you install a higher flowing fuel pump and a pressure regulator but dont put in bigger injectors? would the higher fuel pressure be enough?

if you get the conrods gudgen pins and pistons done at a reconditioning shop then its pretty easy to fit them yourself. in saying that its easy to fit them incorrectly and not know. if your unsure ask someone in the trade not just an enthusiast.

be careful where you go. my dad got his guards rolled at jax and they did a crap job. they cracked the paint, if you look closely the guards are unevenly rolled & inside the wheel arch its all messy where the metal has been pushed back. When my dad complained about it they didnt care because they had already got his money from the new 19's he just bought.

hey all thanks for your help. i talked to the guys across the road from auto barn slack creek. they dont do bodykits in the form of fibreglass they pretty much only sell replacement panels in carbon fibre. very hot but very x'y. Yeah i didnt really want to go to jetspeed ive heard alot of bad stories about there work. dmd did me well in the past maybe ill just hold out until i find news about their re opening. i just assumed they folded because they had their phone disconnected. and finally its interesting how monkey warehouse is expanding and yet autoforce the distributor of monkey warehouse products dissapeared along with my warranty

i think ive confused you a little. the guage is a three wire being a power earth and sensor wire. i've got the power and earth setup on the guage it lights up and everything. the oxygen sensor itself is also a 3 wire and according to the instruction manual that came with the guage it says on 3 wire oxygen sensors power is delivered through one and grounded on a second wire with the third wire being a sensor wire to the ecu. when i unpluged the oxygen sensor i found two terminals were connected so it must of been the power and earth terminals leaving the remaining terminal to theoretically be connected to the ecu which is the one i taped into. so as far as i know i'ts all been wired up correctly but i dont think theres enough voltage being passed through the sensor wire for the guage to register a reading

hey all just wondering if anyone had any enligtenment on fitting an air fuel ratio guage to there r33 skyline. Mine has a 3 wire oxygen sensor and using resistance checks ive found the power and earth so ive hooked up the guage to the remaining wire that goes to the ecu but the guage doesnt register anything. has anyone else had this problem? One possiblity i just thought of was i have wired up the guage to the oxygen sensor on the dump pipe. do the guages have to be wired up to an oxygen sensor further down the exhuast after the cat? your input would be greatly appreciated
