For Sale: Sard Bov Kit For Rb25
r_speedfreak_r replied to Pinging's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Hey i'm interested in your bov. Is this a plum back one then? And does it include EVERYTHING i need to fit it. i currently have a apexi bov, i love it but i keep getting defected and its bullshit. im trying to make my car legal. Also how negotiable are you on the price. $270 seems a little steep. I'm in qld. -
Thanks for your help all. I actually currently have a 3" turbo back exhaust and a pod filter but thats it. Everything youv said makes sense tho. I think i might save up get a fmic & get it tuned at a performance shop or something first. I am an apprentice mechanic but i work in a holden dealership so i dont get to learn much about aftermarket or forced induction. I think ill do just that with the guages, but here comes another really dumb question :s. whats the best way to pass through the firewall. Ive seen people just cut holes in the plugs but i know this can lead to water leaks, excessive heat & noise. Ive always been curious how people get cables or hoses from inside the cabin to the engine bay or under the car.

eventually i will proably get one. I'm currently a 2nd year apprentice so money is tight. You can pick up a boost controller fairly cheaply so i thought turning it up a little would be some cheap smiles. Also while im here what do you thinks better. getting a boost guage and just screwing it into your a-pillar or getting one of those a-pillar pods and screwing that in or completly replace the a-pillar with the ones moulded to hold guages. I know which one would look better but with money and all too.

Hey all. I've recently purchased a silver r33 skyline yay!!! i bought it stock & in really good condition so i can do everything properly and the way i want it. My question is, is it safe to put on a boost controller and turn the boost up with the stock intercooler. I dont want to do anything crazy more like 10psi max. Ive been told any higher than 10psi with the stock injectors and eventually youll need to get them re-aligned. plus i can drive on 10psi everyday safely. I just want to know if its a bad idea to do it without a fmic. I appreciate all your help Cheers Daniel

Hey all I've got my original r33 wheels for sale. I was going to keep them for track days but i need the money after my fines plus if i use them for drifting im sure its just going to end up costing me more money. The wheels are in ok condition. Unfortunatly they have some gutter damage done before i got to them but their perfect for their purpose. Heaps of tread left on them. They currently have nankang 205/55 r16's on them. I'm only looking for $300 for all four pick up which i think is a great deal since the tyres are near new. If for some strange reason you dont know what 33 wheels look like im sure i could get you a picture. I'm willing to sell as two pairs but ill be looking for $200 a pair. e-mail me at r_speedfreak_r@hotmail.com & leave your mobile number and i'll call. Cheers

hey sorry i didnt know about that rule. This is like my second ever post. I live on the southside of brisbane at mount cotton if that helps. I also made another honest mistake i looked at my odometer and relised ive just done 1000kms not the 800 i claimed. Because there still chunky tyres i'm looking for atleast $500. its worth more than that for just the tyres i think. Not really that keen on posting interstate since im not looking for much money. -
Hey everyone Time to upgrade so ive got my original r33 wheels up for sale. Personally i've done less than 800kms on them so far and i think they when i picked up the car the wheels were either brand new or close to it. There is admittidly a little bit of gutter damage on some of the rims if you look up close, unfortunatly, but they werent caused by me. I could post up pics if you really wanted but i'm pretty sure everyone knows what r33 wheels look like. Relistic prices only please, let me know if your interested or need more info. Cheers Daniel

"your going over 180km/h without major mod's(stock ECU), hummm that would take some road, i wish i knew where the was a road like that around here, if you can drive for 100M without hitting a pot hole your doing well." Not really, i've got a r33 gts-t with just an exhaust and bov and took it on the track. 180km is only about 5 grand in 3rd and it doenst take long at all to reach it. It's very easy to do.
