  6. Hey guys Looking at fitting thermos to my 33. The Haltech has a thermo output and i can get twin 12" thermos cheap but i was wanting to know how others had mounted their thermos. Cheers
  7. man if your intercooler piping blows off at 7psi then theres something wrong. Either your clamps or hoses. Shouldnt be that hard to fix
  8. its garrets equivelant of the t51r more or less. I've seen one on an rb30 makes huge power on pump fuel with no gas but its a bit laggy.
  9. wow sounded like gtrgeoff took my comment a lil more personally than i expected. Don't get me wrong i understand every point you made and never ment to take a punt on your lady. I dont really take life too seriously thats why i dont go into depth backing up my opinions. I've always known autos have their place it's just not with me and out off all of the application benefits none of them benefit me personally. Plus ontop of all of that i never meant to turn this topic into auto vs manual. I get very attached to my cars and didnt think that anyone should be put down for wanting a manual over an auto without selling their baby.
  10. i'd have to say i disagree with u gtrgeoff. i dont think you have to be involved with circuit racing to enjoy driving. If you use your car to get from a to b, your lazy or your into drag racing then an auto is the way to go but if you take pleasure out of driving even if its on the road manual is definatly the way to go. I also dont believe wanting a manual over an auto says anything about your driving ability or boosting your ego
  11. thanks guys. scathing and salad what did you guys end up choosing yourselves?
  12. Hey guys Looking at putting coilovers on my car and i've noticed with the exception of tein (being a lil more) most coilover brands have the same features, claim to have the same abilities and are roughly the same price tag. How can you pick out the true high performing coilovers from the rest or are they all roughly going to give the same result. If it helps my cars main application is street but i dont need coilovers for street. I need them to keep up and hopefully beat those damn evos' haha.
  13. wholy crap gympie is a long way away. You should organise an event like this on the southside wink wink nudge nudge haha
  14. cheers 200. I know it sounds a lil low guys unless your running big boost or machine the head and block but these are still mass produced pistons used in plenty of worked engines overseas. If the compression is too low for your application it's easy to get longer rods which id reccommend upgrading anyway and take advantage of a set of cheap strong pistons.
  15. awesome i will. I've been building a fully built rb30/25 all year and i'm on the home stretch so itll be interesting sliding the most powerful car ive ever driven. yay :laughing-smiley-014:
  16. to be perfectly honest i've been told different things. Sliding performance who i bought them off said they're 8.5:1 compression but i think thats with the head and block machined to their limits. Less machining lower compression
  17. hey who and where are the courses your referring to. Ive already done an "advanced driving course" at mount cotton driving centre when i first got my licence but it was all basic driving stuff. I really want to do some more skilled courses so i can improve on my track work when i get to go out. Plus learning to drift properly and stunt driving would still be alot of fun
