  1. Hey guys i've noticed alot of people are saying oil squirters arnt needed. It may be a ignorant question but may i ask why there not recommended? Is it that most of these engines arn't exactly taking environmental factors in mind therefore running super lean and hot or would it still be beneficial but just not cost effective?
  2. yes it will bolt upto a normal manifold & uses the standard seal. I've trial fitted it but not used it on a running engine due to my engine has been getting built all year.
  3. Inside its just hollow. To be perfectly honest im not entirely sure it has been flow tested. I always had the impression most of the flow testing was for the turrents in which case you use the standard. Sorry i cant be of more help but i'd rather be honest than lie to you.

  6. i say f**k em. My cars got plenty of mods, i'm sure most defective. Theres no wayi'm gonna be scared into destroying my pride and joy. As far as im concerned im not hurting anybody.
  7. nooooo i cant belive your selling this car. As soon as i saw it my jaw dropped. Its perfect!! If only i didnt blow up my engine and put all my money into a new one i would of bought it for sure. Damn timing.

  11. im not really a big autosalon fan. I respect the cars for what they are but all show no go doesnt do much for me anymore, plus you can never drive them anymore. Some you might as well take the engine out. The idea sounds stupid but isnt that the same as building a car you can only take to shows and back.

  14. Hey all Just spreading the word about a small muscle car show & audio sale at Northfield Capalaba. It's on Sunday morning till 1 with a sausage sizzle on all morning. I honestly dont know how big itll be but if your looking for something to do or want good stereo gear cheap it might be worth having a visit.

  16. go see the guys at 101 motor cafe. From my experience there are alot of bad tuners out there and i wouldnt recommend anywhere else
  17. haha sounds like the same problem i had on my track day. everyone else was on semis and i was on street tyres. couldnt get any speed into or out of a corner. 600hp though is pretty awesome tho. congrats
  18. id hate to go against the crowd but going from my own personal experience i belive it makes a huge difference. even if thats true and on paper it only makes u an extra 10kw but an extra 10kw at the wheels is still pretty good. And i didnt notice a difference in top end power but i thought the way the engine felt overall was a well worth improvement. Felt more agressive and i dont belive it makes much difference to the db reading but i think personally the note is alot better. Generally speaking most skylines sound the same but with the combination of having a straight through pipe and a titanium exhuast everyone who knows my car can tell its mine just by the note. And yes it does smell pretty bad if your behind the car but im never behind my own car and yes it does pop flames but ive been told it looks awesome not becuase you can see flames coming out the end of the car but because you can see it coming towards you in a blue flame down the pipe and then watch it turn yellow once its through. I think ill stick with my decision

HKS 256 Degree, in 8.8 lift HKS 264 Degree, ex 9.0 lift with tomei valve springs. i'm not really sure on all the modifications required to the head for the hybrid but i know one of the employees at 101 and he recommended me to an engine building workshop to get all my machining done so i'm assuming hell know what to do.
  20. hey guys. i've had alot of people tell me if you want to ditch the vct and get two adjustable cam gears you need to buy an na head. But i pulled my cams off the other day and to me it looks like it's got a solenoid that opens an oil passage which goes into the vct actuator and changes the angle. i got hks cams on the way surely i could just put two adjustable cam gears on keep the vct actuator off and disconnect the solenoid that opens the oil passage. can anyway confirm or deny this?
