  2. wow way to go dredge up an old thread glad to see a member who uses the search button looks like single ones do but dont think the angle and the shape of a stagea pillar would make for a good fit and also the pillar is grey the pod you pictured there is black wouldnt look to good imho
  3. give northside nissan a call in perth they have an affiliation with sauwa and the guys there are more than willing to help out import owners

  6. wheni first emailed j-spec they didnt reply I ended up having to ring. Had also emailed prestige but decided to go with j-spec due to the rude reply from prestige telling me that i was being too picky asking about a mark on the dash of a cheap stagea
  7. notice the hydraulic arm that renders the rear seats totally useless hmmm what a waste could have had lambo doors and bonnet and boot and dumped it but rear doors are just way too much afaik

  12. yes there was a vq25det available on series one m35 stageas new model currently for sale does not offer this engine anymore was 3 or 4 different models to choose from in this configuration if you want to find out more about engine, drivetrain and transmission information this website is a good place to start http://english.auto.vl.ru/catalog
  13. be interesting to see what sort of consumption I get as most of my driving is freeway with no real peak driving I drive 100kms a day from Atwell to Joondalup and back
  14. alloycrap v6 engines are a joke any company who puts a vehicle to market with an engine that unrefined is looking for trouble and anyone who believes that this is ok because it is a marketing gimmick is a fool. who wants to drive a car that is a marketing exercise for the next model. manufacturers strive to produce the best product that they can with the budget that they have and then constantly improve the engine over its life cycle by doinbg research not by downspeccing the engine so that it looksas if they have made an effort on the next model. if thats holdens idea of good marketing then they are doomed or is this just a fanboys claims founded on bullsh$t alfa romeo and saab do use alloytech engines from holden they use the block only and the importnant parts of the engines ie the heads and all other engine ancillaries are made in house by saab and alfa romeo.
  15. Ska was referring to the price of the 260RS as most of them that you see are more expensive that that one and most you see are over 30k
  16. im like terminal I have the series one with the good bits like leather and dual sunroofs its auto for now but with the price of manual boxes and the deal i got for my beast I am able to go manual and still enjoy the fruit and even though there is a power difference it just means a little more required in terms of mods but hey horses for courses if i could have stretched the budget i would have gone for a series 2 manual with leather and dual sunroofs if i could have found one
  17. series 2 has 206kw and comes in manual or tiptronic also RWD drive models are available for import series 1 is only 180kw or so no tiptronic and auto only obviously there are cosmetic differences between series 1 and 2 but thats horses for courses so hope this info helps
  18. with the price of bananas these days i dont think we can afford him i dont know i think 25 is ok I am sure that if everyone invited 1 or 2 mates we could get the numbers up
  19. least ford is making more of an effort to catch up unlike holden who is happy to feed of the tit of any gm brand who wants to give them an engine the alloytec/alloycrap engine is not even an improvement over the old model and yeah holden fanboys will argue that it must be good if saab and alfa romeo are using it but they only use the block and all the electrics and ancillaries are made in house by saab and alfa. wonder why? becasuse the holden gear is definately not world class
  20. dont know if i will have the manual trans in mine yet but if i do we dont have to worry about inviting a banana bender from qld to come along with the token manual
