  9. thats horrible!! what the hell is is that someone put it in a car crusher and put it out of its misery whilst i go and throw up!
  10. there is always the old adage of you get what you pay for and as with most expensive or better quality parts they are usually more expensive for a reason this is because these tuning houses that make them have a thorough engineering and testing program to ensure that these parts last and work better than the stock parts and deliver the most power
  11. would these vehicles only be able to be complied for race/rally as wouldnt they be way too modified for sevs
  12. it looks a bit like the car that homer simpson designed on the simpsons ugly as sin
  13. sorry to hear buddy it sounds like your having a run of bad luck atm would love to help but im im a bit geographically remote to you hope that you can find a cheaper second hand part rather than going to nissan and taking off your pants
  14. it has been mentioned previously on here before i believe that the stagea like the r33 and r34 gtr have a slightly different awd system to the r32 gtr which does allow you to go into rwd but the others do not do this. feel free to correct me if i am wrong if you want more bias to the rear there is something that you can buy i dont know the name of it but sk or others will know its name that allows you to vary the torque from front to rear allowing you to have more power to the rears. hope this helps
  15. i think that all the bits that sk has mentioned are more than enough to get you into the time bracket i think that the main thing that i would be worried about would not be how cheap an affair its going to be but more how reliable its going to be and how much is it going to cost me in the long run. also it is important to remember that the stagea is one heavy mofo and therefore if you are considering any sort of power upgrades over and above what they come with stock then braking and suspension and handling also need to be considered at the same time if not before you start hunting for power, after all whats the point of a fast car if you cant stop or turn?? my 2c
  16. this is a great thread keep them coming rezz
  17. they could have made it a bit easier to find youd think hmm oh well i guess someone had had one too many sake'ss when they chose the location.
  18. thanks for the pics ska good looking beast and as oz has pointed out it looks like a little bit of a look at the cv joints may be in order
  19. that stagea was an rs4 with an rb26dett under the hood so you do the math
  20. no problems at all
  21. umm where to start... can you take some pictures of; handbrake location console surrounds clutch pedal gear stick clutch master cylinder anyone else think of anything else?
  22. ian what are your thoughts on the stag so now its home? let us know when you have some pics oh and on the topic of plug location nfi havent had a good look inside a s2 good luck
  23. oh btw i dont know if you saw it ska but hpi did a feature article on the stagea with gtr front will try to find the artcle and post it up
  24. front quarters are actually designed just for stag look ok its just a bad angle heres some more pics
  25. from memory the kit from masa is panels only and you will still need to source things such as the r34 gtr radiator support and headlights to take this into account when you start on this path also i recall that someone in wa mentioned that here in wa it is illegal to fit plastic front guards as they dont meet adr's for crash requirements i love the look of the front but i think cost and insurance would be a big factor for me also legality for insurance reasons
