  1. spotted one on karel ave bullcreek heading towards leach highway had 3 ppl inside was light green in colour was a series 1 not a colour i have seen before
  2. no compliance for this model it must be a personal import should be a lot cheaper as its a limited market for a car like this hes dreaming
  3. australian assembled with american parts what is there to be proud of? holden only builds what lutzy tells them to build. whats holden producing? they import all their cars except for the commodoore and by the looks of it they will be bringing in more and more korean product to fill out their stables. i havent seen a car that holden has built or imported yet that i would even look at buying or think is well designed or engineered i would much prefer a well made japanese or european car from a company that is worried about build quality rather than pumping out as many econobarges as they can produce.
  4. this is repost hes been trying to sell it for ages had no takers though :thankyou: click here
  5. are you by any chance aware of the spell check function on you computer bro?? i fail to see the point to your post  could be why everyone is taking the piss :chairshot
  6. this is what i would do - exhaust - air intake either pod in a sealed enlcosure or a high flow panel filter - modify the air intake for better air flow - suspension for sure including sway bars - if auto the ebc and dfa probably jaycar and maybe the sitc that sk is playing with at the moment or a manual conversion which would be my pic and then a plug in like fcon or full aftermarket ecu depends on $$$ though - 34gtt cooler or front mount cooler - split dump pipe - upgraded turbo thats it so far dont know how far that would be over or under $10k but it depends on how much you can do yourself i suppose i would love a manual conversion myself but it would not be something i could od myself and would cost $$$ i am sure
  7. its weird i cant wish someone good luck with the sale and ask about the transmission even though this is related to the sale of the vehicle?? ok now that doesnt make sense especially considering that the seller indicated that if we have any questions we should feel free to ask hmm
  8. good info gary thanks cant wait to see the pics from the new owner also another question about the ecu does anyone know if you would be better off using an r34gtt or awd rb25 ecu as the sensors for the stagea are the same or is it just a matter of the things like climate control and dash electrics and so forth being different?
  9. gary you mentioned that it was bit tricky to get the power fc set up. can you explain what you had to do to get it set up. did you wire it into the auto ecu? or did you use a manual ecu from a gtst or a gts-4. also did you need to cut into the firewall to fit the clutch master or did it fit ok with the rb25. did you cut up your console or source a 260rs or series 2 console from somewhere? a few pics would be cool too if you get a chance.
  10. nice car good luck with the sale just out of interest did you do the manual conversion yourself?
  11. autowholesale in cannington has a red rs4 series one 1997 model totally stock for $15990 looks like the prices are coming down for series ones now that people are taking more of an intererest in series 2 models as well as the auction prices coming down too. i think that the car in question has been on the lot a while too so that could be something to do with the price drop. however if youre after a bargain already imported stagea this maybe your lucky day
  12. one for you ken
  13. and some more
  14. there is a thread called stagea exhaust differences which covers a lot of this info
  15. and some more and many more in my gallery
  16. hows this?
  17. yhey have just moved premises i think or they are moving soon they have sign up in the yard
  18. east bear sells a kit that covers the holes left when removing the bars from the roof doesnt look too bad what rims have you put on instead?
  19. true not too hard to rig up a device that resets the rom and loads a new reading onto it
  20. since stageas have a digital odometer is it harder to do? i thought you needed to flash the rom that holds the figure in memory which was not that easy to do as compared to winding back an old school odometer
  21. only thing id be wary of is the towbar is probably only rated to somewhere around 750kg's as all the towbars ive seen on japanese sites for the stag are only lightweight ones so beware depends on your application though i suppose but otherwise great car and you can take the bar off i suppose
  22. whats the point of a body kit on a car that is designed to be a sleeper? if you want a look at me car then the stagea is not the sports type car that your after but if you want a performance car with plenty of room for tuning with the practicality of wagon and less cop attention then the stagea is the way to go. i would say put go before show and at most i would get some rims and a rear wing but thats it
  23. rs260 is basically running a gtr engine and drivetrain rs4 is rb25 with different drivetrain not as tough mostly autos and lower spec interior rs260 is manual only and has triple gauge cluster in the dash and piano finish black dash inserts vs silver on s1 rs4 and nicer trim on seats
  24. post your question in the wa section you will probably get a better response
