i thought that internally the gearboxes were the same but the gtr box has the fittings on it for the transfer case? also cant you run a skyline gtr in 2wd by just disconnecting the front driveshaft from the gearbox? I dont know how this would go long term but this could be the case?? I could be wrong but thats the impression that I am under cheers Glenn

probably changed the dates as most americans probably think that if the car is newer its obviously faster or else someone made a typo when coding the game and it was never picked up has been known to happen before. Programmers arent perfect. condolences to all family members its so sad to see the sudden loss of life as a result of one bit of poor judgement. I dont think we can blame the driver entirely here I think that driver education plays a big part in this especially in any high powered vehicle such as this. The government needs to stop useless revenue raising and put some more money into effective driver education so that there is no more senseless loss of life. I wish the families involved in this tragic accident every condolence and hope that they can grieve for their lost loved ones without too much media interference. best wishes Glenn

the only thing that you use that isnt genuine or aftermarket r34 gear is the special stagea specific guards which at the moment are frp which is pretty crap if you ask me. there are also other pics in my gallery showing some other stageas with different kits on them feel free to have a look through them. thanks for the plug goldzilla

can anyone confirm if the series one and series two ecu plugs are the same? just not sure due to different trans and change to neo engine

grab a copy of the latest hpi magazine there is an article about the kit in it and they give a brief decription of what is needed and so forth then you just need to order the bits

This car is definately not what I would have had in mind for the the next skyline but I suppose there is not much a bunch of keyboard warriors from australia can do to change things I guess Does anyone else think that the front of the car is too busy? I think if they are going to badge the front of the car its one or the other not both badges it looks weird imho. I would prefer a gtr badge but obviously being a global car they would probably opt for the nissan badge on the front. If this is the case I hope they put a gtr badge on the side in a similar location to where the gt badge is on current skylines. Also that bonnet scoop vent thingy needs to be colour coded or something it looks out of place imho. Other than the weird attempt at stove top lights on the back it looks a little z33 to me (i.e it has a fat ass). I notice there is no rear wing as has been mentioned before does nissan intend to go high tech and use a wing that pops out under different conditions similar to the chrysler :throwup: crossfire? I think that the rear end wont change majorly before the final release as they are obvioulsy trying to make big butts a signature of high performance nissans j/k but they need to improve the look of the lights and make the back look less sterile and boring. havent seen any times but a couple of workshops were running rb30det/tt motors in their stageas so i would say they would run the quarter pretty damn quick but if you have a look in the japan section at the links page and look at some of the garages web sites they may have times for their demo cars listed.
