  1. yeah im definately going to go alpine simply cos i know the state distributor and can get some $$$ off the prices and cos they are good as i also know the reps for JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony and Panasonic I may choose some of their bits and pieces too. There are some benefits to working in electrical retail I suppose
  2. Hey Guys Hows It Going on this hot afternoon? Just thought I would start a thread to ask people what kind of stereo installs they have or are planning for their beasts. I know that boot space is awfully handy for a couple of subs and amps but was wondering how people were setting them up to save load space and so forth and if anyone scored any trick stereo gear from japan with their beast Moderators I know this is not the right section for this but because the stagea community is still small I thought maybe this post was more relevent in here. Feel free to move it though. Glenn
  3. yeah would look cool in carbon fibre you could even get even tricker and make it up so that is forms a really wide mouth for the air intake
  4. best to use something that wont get too hot i suppose
  5. yeah ford contracts out most of the work that they cant do to people who are more qualified. their cars are good but their after sales service is shit
  6. that i would love to see so domokun is popular or unpopular in japan??
  7. I first saw a similar photo ages online this is the one below some domokun fans replied in course. However I would love to see one of thse done with a gtr running over the domokun if anyones good with photoshop give it a go Personally I think he looks like a loaf of bread on crack but thats just my opinion Glenn
  8. I have an apple powerbook and i actually rent it so that its a nice tax write off and I get a nice shiny new one evry 18 months. Not that I will need a new one every 18 months as appl computers dont go out of date every three minutes like many pcs. I work in retail and have sold PC's and Apples So I know a bit about the good points and the bad points of both. Also I am currently studying at uni doing a computer related degree and have no issues with compatibilty. As far as the cost of software goes I dont know where you get your information from but equivalent software is not more expensive at all in fact If you look at things like Operating systems for example a copy of Win XP pro when it came out was somewhere around $700 for a full version not an oem copy either. I recently bought a copy of apples Panther OS and the full version was only $249. Another example is Microsoft Office software even though it is a POS the prices are exactly the same and you even get more for your money with Office Pro for mac as you get a full version of Virtual PC 7 with win XP Pro included. My wife uses an apple IBook and she swears she will never use another PC again. Apple are very well priced and when you consider that they dont need to be updated as often as PC's they work out very nicely. If you have to get a PC go for a Toshiba. Dont buy a vaio they are made by LG under licence and are overpriced POS!
  9. who makes these nankang tyres they seem to be popping up on a lot of imports in some of the yards here in wa. They seem to be pretty cheap so I would think they would be pretty nasty but some other peoples input would be appreciated
  10. yeah sorry buddy but ford only runs 9psi on the f6 been mentioned in a few motoring rags
  11. www.streetcommonwhores.com.au www.dunnydoore.com.au no seriously try these www.streetcomodoores.com.au www.ls1.com.au
  12. yeah this plastic was very thin and kind of shrink wrapped onto the bulb pretty light blue colour but i guess that its enough to take the yellow tinge out of the bulb and must be pretty heat resistant too. Jay I am sure that the blue matches your eyes
  13. dont know if the ones that are used in ford climate controls and dashboards will fit but the ones i got from dick smith for my wifes fairmont had the blue bits and lit up nice and white.
  14. it may be a falcodoore but its good to see a local supplier breaking the mould and making a car for the enthusiast and not just the cave dwellers who think a big v8 with sik pushrods are the be all and end all. I say good on ford for trying to make a difference
  15. so for light mods the safc2 is good and for a more powerful tune then the greddy emanage is much better? what sort of mods are they running on the cred stagea
  16. what are the advantages of emanage over safc2?
