Try re-seating your RAM.
Plug a spare monitor into the back of the pc and see if that works.
Try re-seating your video card.
Failing the above could be a faulty video card, ram, mainboard or monitor.
Your standards are WAY to high P1E. Your photos show an R33 with a few cracks on the spoiler and a few scratches and come to the conclusion that is "farked"?? You are looking at a 10 year old car!! Of course its going to have a few little cosmetic things that might need attention.
My advice to you would be to start looking at later model skylines, series 2 even and don't even think about importing.
May I ask what cars you have owned previously?
EDIT: You can also clearly see in the pictures of the car in Japan that the front spoiler is in good condition. This proves that the damage was caused in transit or by the new owner.
In the latest edition of Unique Cars there are R33 GTR's for mid to low $30ks.
Here is one example

In saying that, they are pretty much stock standard examples. The one for sale here is worth much more due to the level of modifications.
Good luck with the sale.
Dude don't over load us with information or anything....How about some details such as:
*Engine type
*Year
*Modifications
*Transmission
*Colour
*Wheels
*Rego
*Price
And some pics will help you sell it.
$40 a week in fuel + $50 a week in repayments.
But then you have rego, insurance, servicing, tyres, parking fines, windscreens.......Having a car costs a sh!t load of money when you don't earn a lot.
Ohhh please.....Are you this guys boyfriend or what? The car you're talking about is a stock Series 2 with a boost controller and a 400R kit....Hardly a car you should be talking up.
This is how I would go about doing it:
*Buy 2 car ramps from super cheap for $25 each.
*Drive car on ramps
*Drain oil
*Get trolley jack with piece of timber on it, jacked up firmly under the gearbox
*Undo all nuts & bolts etc
*Slowly lower jack
The only problem I can see there is trying to strabilise the gearbox on the trolley jack so it doesn't fall off.
No no no...different situation entirely. You said the phone worked fine, the only problem was the volume didnt work. In that case a perfect example would be....If you buy a car off someone that tells you the only problem is the radio doesn't work and then you find out the engine is only running on 3 cylinders, that isnt YOUR problem because you were only told the radio didnt work....I would be taking the car back and jamming it up your arse...like I would do personally if I bought that phone off you.
I had my gearbox recond under warranty. They replaced 2nd and 3rd synchros. The 2nd and 3rd synchros are a dual synchro. The total cost ended up being $1900 that included new bearings.
The mechanic said it was a pretty big job and it took the guys that did it (mechanic couldnt do it, took it to a gearbox specialist) about 5 days or something. He mentioned something about a lot of adjusting.
Anyway it's something I wouldn't attempt by yourself if you don't have any prior knowledge of replacing synchros. Don't expect too much change out of $2000.
