Well after the mechanic and I took the car for a ten minute test drive he could feel something was a bit wrong...so he changed the oil for me then and their with some Shell stuff that has improved it heaps...he said to come back in January and he will inspect it again. If it hasn't improved much he will replace the synchros in 2nd & 3rd and also do the bearings under warranty! So I'm happy it's all going to be covered.
Well in 30min im going to the mechanics to get them to check out my second gear synchro that is crunching and going on. It's an "inspection" to see if they will cover it under warranty or not....everyone wish me luck because if they don't I'm going to be less then impressed. :singer:
YES! I can relate to this. Ill be driving along a quiet road and people watering their lawns stop, stare and give me this dirty look as if to say "slow the *** down!" humm amazing.
I wouldn't worry about it Joe. Obviously some people read these forums and take everything you type as gosple. I mean no one mentioned the Police in this entire thread yet Ozzy above is giving a lecture on showing respect to them? WTF?
Just remember when you do go around JiMiH's house to annoy his neighbour that you take off your exhaust so its nice and loud!:headbang:
If you are cooling it down in your driveway for a couple of minutes late at night then I can see your neighbours point. Instead of timing it in your driveway, just drive like a grandma off boost just before you reach home so its nice and cool. :grouphug:
Could be your AFM (air flow meter). Either way, smelling petrol inside the cabin is never a good thing..that could indicate a leak somewhere or your engine running extremely rich. If I were you I would take it straight to a mechanic who knows what they are doing. Could save you money in the end.
I got a Users Manual with my R33 when it was complied but there was nothing in there about the fuse box. What you need is technical documentation, stuffs me where you will find that.
I get this problem as well. After a good wash they come good again.
Whoever tints your glass will make sure its clean and will tell you if the lines will be visible after the tint goes on. Go in and have a chat to them.
I have read a few websites comparing the SR vs CA. They are both great engines but the CA gets the more votes in most debates. Meggala is currently importing a 180 CA...send him a PM regarding the engines etc. He would be more then happy to discuss.
These cars have just over 200kw at the wheels straight out of the box. I point your attention over to this thread on performance forums http://board.performanceforums.com/forums/...readid=67137695
Very impressive. And for those people complaining that it weighs to much...go buy a mini or something.
The factory boost guage doesnt measure in PSI. Hence the reason why it never hits the +7 when boosting.
The factory boost level on an R33 is about 7psi. You get about 5 psi at 2,800 and another 2psi over 5,000rpm.
Guys...The old lady is a Mistress (pimp). The chicks causing the damage obviously got fired/replaced by the 2 new REALLY hot chicks and they are pissed off! Makes sense doesnt it??:Pimp: :whip:
