If you dont know what to look for then best thing is to let the proffesionals do it. If you havent ever driven an R33 GTST and dont know what they feel like then just driving it isnt go to tell you anything also. You could go into detail regarding accident history also. Checking for off coloured guards, orange peel, etc. If he has documentation that states he has replaced the timing belt. Then in most cases it would be ok. But if he says it has been done and cant provide any evidence then get it checked or just replace it. I could go into detail about checking everything, but I cant stress enough how important it is to get every little thing checked out by people who know what they are doing.

Look at the condition of the front suspension bushers. I would recommend getting it checked over by a good mechanic. Things like compression, timing belt etc. They will be able to tell you what is wrong with the car. Just checking it over yourself isn't a very good way of making sure everything is OK.

Umm no there are a fair few differences. Read the PDF again. The model 2k - RB26DTT beside the parts are the changes made to the Australian model.

What mods have you done?....Ohh you were joking..i get it now.

Mine cost $700 in parts....got them brand-new direct from japan...didnt want to stuff around with second hand parts. My lower control arm and something else was bent, mag wheel and tyre rooted as well. Only took 1 week to get the parts and that included fitting. All up i think it cost about $900-$1000. Just got it back last week.
