No books but here's the story:
I bought MR30 from a friend's widow, who'd bought it from the original owner's, his mate's, widow. Me, not dead yet.
It had done 67,000 when I bought it in 2007, for $1000.00, since which time it was my daily runner [hence the 4 steel wheels and crummy wheel covers] until about 10 months ago when I quit work to care for the missus, who got really crook.
The MR30 TI had Ming treatment and "go faster stripes" on Purchase from Reg Hunt Rhodes and then those rubber nudge stick ons that you can see on the rear bumper. Since I bought it I had the windows tinted, apart from which, its a standard, fully imported Skyline. Errr: and apart from the front driver's side guard which was replaced by the second owner, he's the one who caused the dings that you can see on the driver's side door and by the tail light.
I won't be detailing it nor will I be roadworthying it at this price, but I would not hesitate driving it to Brisbane, as is [gearbox was serviced by A&B Automotive Remanufacturing, radiator replaced, car serviced regularly].
If you have to haggle, I've decided that I will go to $999.95, but I'd rather not.
