Thanks for the comment. The tail lights came from Ebay. -
I am the first owner since it was imported by a dealer in Sydney last year. The car is in very good condition as it has been well looked after. I have a service book which I have been filling in as I have carried out all of the services myself. The car is standard apart from an Apexi pod filter. I have also changed the tail lights to LED as well as custom LED reverse lights. I have installed a double dim stereo with reverse camera and a push to start button system. I will have a road worthy done on the car before it is sold and it has rego until February 2014. I am selling due to needing a larger car. If there is anything I have missed out please feel free to call or PM me. Offers are very welcome however no time wasters please! NO SWAPS Located in Moorooka, QLD, 4105 $16,990 0401 531 300

R34 Rear Wheel Bearing
daniels14a replied to daniels14a's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
So looks like this is the wrong bearing. Got it to the garage and they told me that it was missing the top mount for the hand break. After looking around they managed to get one in however once it was all bolted on they realized that the shaft would not fit as it was 3mm to small! I had no idea that the there different sizes! Can anyone help me with this as I can not find the correct bearing for my car? -
Thanks for the advice guys. I called up Mercury and they were useless as they would not come back to me even after I called them back the second time. I was after a place which knew what they were doing and had a good price. Midas gave me a very rough estimate as they would need to carry the work out first in order to see how long it would take, when others were quoting how long it will take and cost. I ended up booking with Fulcrum as they had a reasonable rate and seem to know what they are doing.

Hi all, Can anyone recommend any garages in or around Brisbane area. I need to get my rear wheel bearing changed. I already know of Mercury Motorsports and Allstar Tuning Systems. Just want to do a bit of shopping around. Also would anyone recommend going to any of the known chain garages like Midas etc to get the rear bearing changed? Thanks

R34 Rear Wheel Bearing
daniels14a replied to daniels14a's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
OK thank you for the advice. This is the one which I have just ordered. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/360701961813?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 I thought that you have to just unscrew the bolts off the back of it! I did not think that you needed to press or unpress anything! I think I might just get a mechanic to do the job as I don't have any specialist tools! -
Over the weekend I have noticed an unusual sound from the rear passenger side wheel which i suspected might be the bearing. Over the last few days it has got worse. So I took the wheel off and it turns out that it is the wheel bearing as there is a little bit of play when moving the top and bottom of wheel back and forward. Just wondering how hard of a job is it to replace the bearing as I understand that it is held in by four bolts and it is not pressed in. I do not have any fancy tools so if I was to attack the job, would I managed to get it off and replaced? Thanks for any advice in advance.
