good idea alex, you can get a r33 NA half cut under $1500. then you can sell or you rb20 stuff, it all works out, just find a mechanic that you can trust and keep him so he knows all about your car.

spotted a few skylines today, firstly a white r33 gtr IVALUE, seen it before on a cruise, also a blue r32 gtst on norton street leichardt, grey 32 gtst on parra rd near leichardt, a black 33 gtst with chromies and red plates at flemington.

i cheked out this site www.horsepowerinabox.com.au for $3900 u can get a bolt on gt 34/40 cabable of 280rwkw or more, thats the turbo im puttin om my r33, have a look they seem to be pretty cheap turbos on here. also another vote for slide he is cheap and very helpful

they have done a good job of putting it bak together, so its not registerable all over Aus or just in sydney?

i didnt even know that 32's came with a 2.5L it must be the later models like 1992-1993? if you find an auto you could always just convert it over. does anyone know how much a NA 32 2.5L goes for?

yeh i know... i was looking at the exemption form, and i cant see how people get around it. an NA 32 is your best bet, but the problem is tryin to a find a clean one for sale, i guess if you were goin to fix up the outside then all id really look at is one with a good interior and a good motor, then with the outsdie you can do the bodykit and rims etc, and im pretty sure that a muffler doesnt give power gains its just for sound, but dont quote me on that.

it wont work, unless you can prove that you live there such as having on your license that you have a current address in ACT

LOL iv been watching this thread, alex get a NA 32 if you like the look of 32's, i think if you want sound just get a muffler, and you can also get a panel filter just replace the stock one. as for looks yeh you can do watever you like. have fun

yeh i rekon xr6t are good, the problem is the production line, usually the faulty ones are the ones that they rush on a friday orvo to fininsh building, or they leave them on a friday arvo half done for someone else to fininsh on a monday, i have found thats the common problem.
