  1. f**k that might be the problem, it seems there is a cd stuck in there hence the error Heres hoping
  2. How do you engage the unit? I have the cd error fo thing and I want to add the grom unit but I am worried because it is always searching for a disk that I will not be able to get into the mode Does the grom cable hook into the back of the bose unit itself?
  3. Really tidy!
  4. What up people I'm Greaver and I have just taken delivery of my first V35 Had a red R33 Coupe which I still use for bashes to the shops so I have lurked these forums for some time but I have just taken the plunge after finding a tidy 2001 V35 with all the options for a very reasonable price that is just off 150ks Car is meant to be for the missus but its grown on me very quickly, smooth performance and everything is really responsive (aside from he brakes, new rotors ahoy) so I am stoked. The plan is to drop it a little on some of these when I get the time to sort the offsets (I have heard standard 350z springs give a 1 inch drop?) But yeah nice to meet you all, I have a feeling I will get a later model for myself for my next car : )
  5. They certainly are nice, saw an S2 M35 dumped on 18's today that looked sick If I was shopping for myself I would have considered one but my missus wanted a sedan Thinking of putting some of these on it as I can get a 19"set in 9.5 and 10.5 for $1800 new
  6. Will give this thread a bump Going to be joining the V35 Club tomorrow with a run about for the missus that I will no doubt wreak havoc on Not happy that the TV unit pops up when it feels like it and its the bose system so it may all be a pain in the arse but provided I can get a secondary amp hooked up in the boot for a proper sub and one of those anycar bluetooth CD changer hook ins I will be content Located in Tauranga
  7. Hey people I have a manual R33 non-facelift RB20E Coupe that I have used as my daily driver for the last few years - even in this underpowered forum its still a bunch of fun to thrash and its not too hard on the gas either, at least compared to my weekend car which is a Rev D E-Tune Legacy which opens a little valve under the gas tank when I drop my foot. To make it a little more exciting on the way to work etc with the R33 coupes big bum I wanted to increase the power without going turbo, preferably by adding some torque into the equation. So my question - is there anything major I need to do to drop an RB30E in? Or can I literally swap the two without modifying anything. And the second question is, how much of a mission is it to drop a 25DE head on an RB30 - will I run into ECU issues and need different headers etc? Failing that I could look at putting a standard RB25DE in there - but from what I understand I may need to change the ECU etc anyway so I may as well go RB30DE Cheers, and please excuse the 'sign up and ask a question' first thread : D
