  1. If this was an R33, then its ALf's. It's got a full GTR bodykit minus the badges (still got GT) and "Chameleon" on one of his rear wing decals. He's had it for years! Majority of work done by Skyline Performance - car is fully modified and fast. Was recently in High Performance Imports magazine R33 special edition. They reprinted an article on the car which was done a couple of years ago! Know a bit about this car because it was the line that made me buy one.
  2. I had a repetitive sound happening which turned out to be the timing belt.
  3. DOH! Got same size tyres in ACT for $200 more - RIPPED!
  4. KARMA ppl - Don't worry, what u do 2 others will be done onto you!
  5. Got 235/45 K104s on my 17's! Top tyre m8! Don't know bout Federals though.
  6. Just on the side - to change from warm air to cold air coming in turn ur CC on and adjust to lowest temp setting then turn off.
  7. Put an end to tailgating and slam your brakes on next time it happens! Watch the driver behind you shit themselves as you give 'em the finger and leave 'em in your exhaust fumes as you speed off into the distance.
  8. Don't know about ACT but Advan in sydney would probably have a couple of Jap brands in stock. Give em a call - could be looking at up to $2000 for a jap kit with all piping! People have recommended Nengun for good deals and quick delivery from Japan. I read that someone got a HKS type s kit for r32 gtr for less than $1500 through them.
  9. trader33 - if you live in Canberra then go to All Make Automotive in Garran, beside the Mobil servo or TEZ automotive in Mawson. Highly recommend them.
  10. $30 fitted JB hi-fi!
  11. Well call me crazy, but I did make an unbiased comparison and noticed smoother gear shifting with the auto and better economy with the same conditions.
  12. O8Elf - try changing your fuel to BP Ultimate! Good reasons why if you search! Give it a go and see what you think! I use to use Opticrap but since switching to Ultimate Im much happier with the car!
  13. Dudes not good to drive outta car wash with even the slightest amount of water on car, dust and dirt in the air love to stick to this. Best to chamois - can take less then 5 minutes doing karate kid style, wax on-wax off!
  14. I think the red button is your overdrive button? - turns overdrive on and off.
  15. 400r rear pods, though you may need the 400r rear bar to match - although you may be able to get a veilside rear bar which, I think from memory, covers the pods anyway!
  16. Is that all the mods you did? Am I missing something here
  17. Saw that this morning. Roos are always hanging out round your place. You'se feeding them or something! Hit a roo 2 years back - dinted front quarter panel and took passenger side mirror off, cost round 800 to fix eveything (panel, new mirror, fit & paint). Dudes out in HALL did it!
  18. It doesn't matter which comes first as long as you're running safe boost on the intercooler that you have on!
  19. Hey Abo Bob, have u finally installed the greddy emanage in your car!
  20. If you're really cautious tow it sometime late at night or early in the morning depending on how secure your car will be at drop-off.
  21. I'm pretty sure that screamer dumps aren't legal for street applications. Could have a slight power gain over a split dump that joins seperate actuator and turbo gases b4 the front pipe. Compared to stock, split dumps and screamer pipes would be better than stock.
  22. Tru dat, tru dat. Might send out a call for ppl interested in helping - with plenty of beverages involved! Damn these guys seem pretty helpful, not that I'd understand half of what they'd be saying, but at least they do.
  23. Dude, Does this stuff really cost an arm and a leg as listed on some Sydney workshop websites!
  24. Best to keep ur car as stock as possible. Make sure that the rims and tyres are either standard or match what is listed on the placard. This should be on the sticker in the door well near the latch thingy. Exhaust will be a problem if over the noise limit in dB. I think maybe round 90-95dB?
