are pucks hard to drive and harsh on the gearbox? also, i've heard that twins are noisy and wear very, very quickly plus mines rather stock so i dont think i'd need to go twins just yet. So i guess $1000 aint that expensive then...

Hi all, My clutch is slipping in my gtr and was wondering how much it would cost for an upgraded clutch? Does $1000 sound right to you guys/gals fully fitted with an uprated pressure plate, organic full face clutch and the bearing? is this cheap/expensive? I'm in brisbane. Any reccomendations of good shops to visit? Thanks.

I've got a new ARC blow off valve kit for sale. I bought the wrong one. It's small and is supposed to be used in conjunction with the two that's in the stock location (so if you install it, you'd have 3 blow off's in your car). I guess it'll be good on a big turbo GTR where the two blow off's aren't providing enough flow to release all that boost quick enough! It fits by replacing the short rubber piping next to the air filter with the kit that includes all clamps, hoses, metal piping. I dont have pics of it. I'll try and get hold of a digital camera. Interested people can reply here. Selling for $300 firm as that's what it owes me + postage if you're interstate. I am in Brisbane.

doesnt show rpm. only shows: peak speed real time speed measures time for 0-100m, 0-200m, 0-300m, and 0-400m dash with terminal speed as well.

There's a total of 4 wires. black=ground red=ignition white wire and green wire=speed sensor wire (cut in half and one side goes to white and the other half goes to green) fitting is very straight forward and shouldn't take more than 30mins. has full instructions. Cheers.

I have a brand new Blitz Power Meter ID2 for sale. It has some features like: 0-100km 0-200km 0-300km 0-200m 0-400m real time digital display of speed in km or mph real time display of power (chasis dyno) in PS, HP, or KW And if you have an SBC ID, it can team up with that and do something else (i'm not too sure what though) I decided against fitting it because i dont know where to place it in my car and it's a gadget that i dont really need (it's pretty cool but not particularly useful) I guess if you're into seeing exactly how much power your car has and what effects little mods do to your car, then this is a much cheaper option than going to the dyno all the time. (just dont get caught by the police when you decide to make a power reading run:D) I'm just asking for what it cost me $400 (was unlucky and got taxed:( ) Brisbane buyers can pick it up, interstate buyers will have to pay COD. I've just received something sent from Japan and was taxed. They calculated it like this: (say item cost 1000Yen) Y1000 = $15Aud $15 multiplied by 15% for duty= 2.25 $15+2.25=17.25 17.25 X 10% GST= 1.725 The cost of importing this thing is the duty plus GST which is 2.25+1.725=$3.975. So for your S-AFC $250...you will need to pay $66.25. normally, it is calculated by the price on the receipt unless it is so dodgy (like $100 for a set of new 19inch wheels plus tyres) that they dont believe you. In this case, they will not only estimate a price for it, they could actually fine you and black list your name so every time you go through customs...out comes the rubber gloves Hope this helps!

Used for about a month. Found out I didnt need it because my car has a Mines CPU with factory speed cut removed. Some features of the speed meter: Real time display of speed (km/h) Peak speed display Removes factory speed cut (180km/h) Timer for 0-100m, 0-200m, 0-400m. Comes with Japanese instructions but i can tell you which wire does what. Can COD at your expense. Goes to the highest bidder. Starting price is $100.

I'm still very interested in the shocks and springs. just like to confirm a few things: they are in perfect condition? they're not leaking? they dont need a rebuild anytime soon? (could they be rebuilt?)

interested in your suspension. how many klm 's have they done? what condition is it in? would you know what the cheapest way of sending them to brisbane is?

Only happens at full throttle. partial throttle, half throttle etc has no problems.

I have the following: 93 r32 GTR blitz air pods full Mines exhaust with front pipe blitz DSBC spec R (set at 0.8 bar boost) Mines ECU All else standard The problem I am getting is that it spikes to about 0.95-1.00 which to me, being an electronic boost controller, is just unacceptable!!! The weird thing is (to me anyway) is that the overboost only happens at full throttle and when I take my foot OFF the accelerator to change up a gear!!! To explain it in detail: car is in gear, apply full throttle, boost climbs up to around 0.82 at about 4000rpm (no spike), at around 6500rpm, boost drops slightly to 0.78 (all is still good) and at 8000rpm when i take my foot OFF the gas, the boost spike up to about 0.95/1.02 bar! What could possibly be wrong? I always thought that spikes occur when the turbo kicks in? If it just spiked a bit then i wouldn't worry about it...but 0.2 of a bar...that's like 3psi....the difference between a healthy engine and a full rebuild! I've asked my mech and he suspects that my guages are faulty but i've hooked up 2 guages to it using different points of pick up for the signal but i still get spike readings! Another thing that he told me is that it's "theoretically" impossible. I take the boost reading from the fuel pressure regulator which is behind the throttle plates, when i take my foot off the gas, and the throttle plates close, no more boost will go in so it should read from positive boost to negative pressures instantly...hence, no spike. This problem has really hindered me from enjoying my car. Any help you could possibly throw my way would be greatly, greatly, appreciated! Thanks! Karl
