  1. Hey guys, This must have been covered before but I can't find it anywhere. I'm about to do a oil change on the Stag. It's got an rb25det neo out of a R34 in it. What weight oil is recommended? I'm in New Zealand so the climate is obviously a little cooler than some of you chaps over the ditch. Cheers for the help, - Lance
  2. Finally got around to getting some pictures of the old girl.
  3. Has anyone replaced the factory bush in the steering column with an alloy replacement? If so, how was the difference? C34 btw, but could be relevant to others Stageas. Cheers, - Lance
  4. Running a Link G4 with a spliced loom. Yeah I'm not planning on making massive power for the Stagea, it's just a fun long trip car that'll hold it's own, and another toy for the collection. The 180 is the power whore. Turbo is a T04E, the particulars escape me atm. I'm unsure of why people hit the wall at that figure with the neo's in particular. My plan was to put some forged pistons in, put bigger injectors in and have a nudge at the 300 mark, maybe more if the tune will allow. What had you done to get the 338? - Lance
  5. Sorry to hijack this thread btw sleek3 lol. It is S1 but I've transplanted the engine and gearbox to the neo manual. Plan is to retune with a few extra tickles to get to the 300rwkw mark and leave it at that. - Lance
  6. Cheers mate. No I've not, I really should I guess. I'll pull finger one weekend and get some proper snaps of it and write a list of parts. Basic run down, 25det neo, manual, 270rwkw. - Lance
  7. Best picture I have on the computer atm. - Lance
  8. Sweet, I've got one on my Stagea. Didn't know they were 'rare' - Lance
  9. Are you talking about the wing above the lights? - Lance
  10. Cheers mate. What's the difference between de and det boxes? - Lance
  11. Hi guys, Wanting to know if anyone know what gearbox this is. From memory it was an rb20 box but wanting someone to confirm. I'll assume the #1 on the bellhousing is irrelevant but the RPC71C means something and the #2 on the actual gearbox housing also means something. Cheers, - Lance
  12. Maybe pull on it with the screwdriver and get someone to pull the lever? - Lance
  13. There are two different bolt patterns. You can either find the diff with the same bolt pattern as your half shafts or buy different half shafts to go into the diff. To the best of my knowledge the splines are the same in the diff and half shafts. - Lance
  14. Cheers for that. Yeah I've never really had to look into how they work before but it doesn't take too much looking to figure it out. Thanks for the help. - Lance
  15. I've re done it all last night. The car was surprisingly running well even with the fuel filter on the return line, and backwards. Now I've got it going from the hard line, to rubber through the filter, into the back of the fuel rail. From the fuel rail to rubber to the reg, then rubber down to the hard return. Sound alright? Cheers, - Lance
  16. Okay thanks for that. Mine isn't standard so it's hard for me to tell how it's meant to be. Does the fuel go in from the front or rear of the fuel rail? At the moment mine goes from the hard line, to a rubber line into the filter, then through the Tomei fuel pressure regulator (mounted on the drivers side strut tower) via rubber line into the front of the fuel rail. Then a rubber pipe comes off the back of the rail to the hard return line. - Lance
  17. Hey guy. Was looking at my recently purchased C34 yesterday and noticed what I thought was a funny setup with the fuel hoses. In the engine bay it goes from hard line to soft line, then to the Tomi fuel reg then to the fuel rail. Then what I assumed was the return line to the tank, coming out of near the firewall, was the fuel filter. Do the rb25det neos run like this or has an idiot assembled it wrong? My guess is the latter as it doesn't appear to make sense otherwise. Cheers, - Lance
  18. Random, I don't have a sunroof lol - Lance
  19. Hi guys. When changing the diff on my wc34 the other day I came across this pipe which didn't seem to be connected to anything. It was hanging off a clip in the subframe. Can anyone tell me what it's for / from? Cheers, - Lance
  20. For reference to anyone else wondering this, it does work. Have to change the backing plate and the abs sensors over (different plugs) and bobs your aunty. - Lance
  21. Cheers mate, I'm going to have a measure up and give it a nudge tonight. - Lance
  22. Hey guys. I've got a S1 Stagea with an open wheeler in it. I've also got a s15 hlsd in the garage. Both the axels and diff are 6 bolt and the diff has abs, like the car. With the changing of the backing plate, would this diff fit into the Stagea? - Lance
  23. Has anyone tried the R34 interior? It looks quite similar. As for the S2 and the 260rs, there isn't a lot of them over here in NZ. - Lance
  24. Hey guys. Have just picked up my 97 Stagea today. It's been converted to manual and the inside surrounds/trims are bloody shocking. What (other than factory manual) surrounds have people used and made a tidy job. I think the centre console is out of. R33 and doesn't match up at all. Pictures would also be mint. - Lance
  25. Hey there. Can I change mine to Captain Wow. Cheers... should have paid better attention in spelling class...
