  2. See you mofo's on Sunday. By the way, how do you guys who share a garage go about moving in and out if you're in different groups and the car next to go out is parked behind the other?
  3. OP, if you're under any illusion that a used skyline of any age has not had a nice thrashing you're kidding yourself. Difference of 2 years between a 98 and a 2000 model is hardly worth paying extra for. Likewise, $17k is pricey for a car that's basically stock. 2 door GTT (turbo) coupes can be bought for $10-12k now, so I wouldn't rush in to buying one if you have time to look around.
  4. For club sprints / Level 2 speed events, you should technically require a cams compliant cage. WRX club has been lenient in the past on this requirement as I've seen all kinds of bolt in, and non compliant designs pass scrutineering. From Jan 1 2013, the requirement will be to have padding in contact bars for all competition levels. Again, it's up to the club scrutineers on the day to enforce it. SCHEDULE J - SAFETY CAGE STRUCTURES - were safety cage is required From 1st Jan 2013 ALL competitions will require minimum SFI 45.1 or the preferred FIA 8857-2001 roll cage padding 11. PROTECTIVE PADDING 11.1 Helmet and Head Protection: (a) Where the helmet of an occupant could come into contact with the safety cage, protective padding shall befitted in that area, which complies with: (i) International competition and below, FIA standard 8857-2001, type A (see FIA Technical List No 23 “RollCage Padding Homologated by the FIA”); or (ii) For national competitions and lower, SFI specification 45.1. (b) Implementation DatesPadding of the type specified in 11.1(a) is required as follows: • Any FIA category vehicle (eg, Group N, Super 2000) – refer FIA Appendix J, Article 253 – currently in place; • National competitions – from 1 January 2012; and • All competitions – from 1 January 2013. The use of the specified padding is highly recommended in the meantime. 11.2 Body Protection: Where the body of an occupant could come into contact with the safety cage, it isrecommended that flame retardant padding be fitted. FIA standard 8857-2001 or SFI specification 45.1padding is recommended.
  5. Plus, the range rover you listed has over 160,000 km..... I bought my BMW X5 turbo diesel as its a super smooth to drive daily, awesome on fuel (Approx 700-800km a tank) and it can tow my race car... now I just need a $12,000 nevco trailer and I'm all set

  18. Hahaha. Indeed.. But try dealing with 500 low ballers then you may understand the frustration that comes with selling parts on forums.. not so much SAU, but always on nissan silvia.
