  9. I AGREE 100% Shan, it seems alot of sellers in the import parts business via yahoo auctions are quoting alot higher margins on the landed prices... so much that it really put me off. I'd rather just buy new stuff for a few hundred more. pffft
  10. Speak to ylwgtr2, I hear he is wise in the ways of the R34 rebuild

  18. If you mean track/circuit racing, around 36-38psi. release some pressure when it heats up after the first session. for drags... usually much lower tyre pressure will allow better rear end squat and traction.. suspension setup makes a big difference to launch. but i dont drag so no idea about tyre pressures
  19. So I can't get one for my R34 that will be direct bolt on? what type flange does it come in?
  20. Im sure that the cops wont turn to cops, as its an organized event for car enthusiasts of japanese cars, to meet, cruise & socialize. If ppl attending behave themselves and not pull any stunts, then the cops shouldnt have any reason to defect/give a hard time to anyone. Lets just say that this event disaprooves of any illegal activities eg. drags, burnouts on public roads. To the local police surrounding the meet point- you are more than welcome to monitor the cruise.. as you certainly will be doing anyway. I think you're being a little naive if you think all drivers who attend a large cruise event such as this will be well behaved. It WILL attract a certain number of dipshits who turn up and rip burnouts, etc. You may not condone the behaviour but it doesn't stop it from happening. Having said that, good on ya for putting the effort into trying to organise cruises for Melbourne car enthusiasts! Hope the night runs smoothly for you.
  21. Guys - I have no affiliation with mccr, anyone can go to that cruise as it's open for all. It is not an official SAU cruise, in fact most SAU members would prefer not to attend mccr events due to the number of bad drivers that commonly attend and ruin it for every one else. There is likely to be police showing up at some point so be warned. I was just posting the info for anyone who may be interested.
  22. do you have any dash instruments reading properly? check your fuses for any that may be blown... sometimes a $2 fuse is the problem.

When : Friday 13th of May Meet : 7.30pm Depart : 8:30.pm Where : LONLEY PLANET - Dockside, Corner Maribyrnong St and Parker St, West Melbourne. MELWAYS: 2SJ12 (see attached map) Bring your UHF CD Radios if you own them – MCCR Channel = No14
