I think it was you Peter who said it looked like I was about to sell the car lol. After that it's easy to keep in top clean condition, as it should be!

The guy didn't mention how much he got for them.. I'd say close to $4k, they're damn nice wheels. I'm also considering 18" Gramlight 57pro's, light gold centre, polished sliver lip... very nice looking wheels.

I've seen the same situation here in Melbourne over the weekend - pulled into a Shell station to get some optimax, but the pumps for Optimax were "not in use". Ah well, in the past I only used Optimax... because the other fuel franchises hadn't started to offer a high octane (98+ RON) fuel yet. These days I've found I've had better performance with BP Ultimate which I use exclusively now, unless there's nothing else...

Exactly.... no one will be pushing you to go hard. It's not about how fast you can go, but more about driving techinques on the track, learning how to take the best line through corners, and getting a feel for being on the track. You will be fine.

I thought the original $350 price for the Sabelt was including delivery... What are the chances of them getting more Sabelt harnesses in stock?

I doubt the skyline was doing the speed limit.. that section of road is totally flat, 4 lanes wide.... 70km/h? I highly doubt it. (before anyone flames me, it's MY opinion :upurs: ). Even friends of the Honda driver said they were drag racing, having a bit of fun which unfortunately ended very badly... but I think there has been enough said about that. Drive sensibly and you will be fine. A skyline is like any other sports car, if you dont respect it, it will bite you hard. Besides, unless you have a big f*ck off turbo and run copious amounts of boost, you shouldnt have any problem at all. Remember - off boost, it will drive like a any other reasonably powered 6cyl. car. Careful throttle control, 'good' suspension, decent tyres, and a sensible driving attitude will keep you safe.

So I was coming back from a security breakfast/briefing at Crown this morning down clarendon st doing 60, wet roads, etc. this friggin taxi driver pulls out in right front of me, he wasnt even looking for oncoming traffic. I am thankful for my ABS and brembo's.. Then the cheeky shit just waves at me as if to say "no worries thanks for letting me in" stupid fux0r.. :uzi: Just shows you can be as confident as you are in your own driving ability, but you also need to be aware of other drivers and be prepared for unexpected events.

I'm guessing what you're asking is what is the definition of "5.7 Vehicles are to be kept to less han competition speed." I think the officials (clerk of course, flag marshalls) will have a word to you if you are seen to be driving beyond your limits, or endangering other drivers. One rule that's stated clearly is "NO OVERTAKING WILL BE PERMITTED IN CORNERS AT ANY TIME". Laps aren't being timed anyway... but doesn't mean u cant bring your own stop watch or if you wanna go Hi-tech, use an infrared lap-timer I'm excited.

Mate, shut the fcuk up. I dont give a fcuk what you think. I was referring to the driver of the skyline, and the others involved in the incident. It has nothing to do with disrespecting the dead. Get over it, I will say what I like and I stand by my comments. This affects me because I drive an import, live nearby to the area where this accident occurred, and I dont appreciate being harassed by cops because of the CARLESS actions of other drivers.
