  1. Are you sure it's new? Doesnt look new to me...
  2. Yes! I was going to put up a thread about tyre pressures for track.
  3. I never actually said they were racing...... the news article describes the incident as a "suspected street drag-racing accident". The media inferred this was the cause based on the police statements. Anything could have happened, but it's still highly probable that the accident was caused by CARELESS DRIVING. Like I said, incidents like this certainly don't improve the image of import car drivers.
  4. Ok, still waiting for pics.....
  5. BUMP - this thread is important for everyone who's going to Sandown on the 24th. At the very least EVERYONE should have their brake fluid bled and replaced with a good performing fluid. Don't rely on your stock/unkown brake fluid as Sandown is quite hard on the brakes. Front pads are engaged more so than the rears, so at least put some decent pads on the front - these are your insulators - It doesnt matter how good your brake fluid is, if you've got cheap shit pads you will still experience brake fade. Remember to bed them in for at least 100km normal driving too. Dont just get new pads and head straight to the track because you'll be very sorry. The last thing I'd want to see is someone hit the wall because they ran out of brakes!! No point going as fast as you can if you can't also stop when you need to.
  6. Did your MX-5 have ABS?
  7. Road trip to Perth anyone?
  8. No probs, I'm not in any particular rush.!
  9. Thanks. Yeah I know, I've already been speaking to Top Secret about getting a set
  10. Which means we have 10 orders Excellent.
  11. Same thing happened to me today when I went into the office... people coming up to me, "did you hear about the skyline accident"... I'm like yeah, I knew about it before I got to work. Just because I drive a skyline doesnt mean I give a shit. It's incidents like this that make owning an import even harder... careless moron fcukwits.
  12. I dont understand?! How can you have soo many problems with your car Roy? Seems like everytime you post, somethings wrong with your car, your engine or it's "in the workshop" getting fixed... wtf? Does your car ever run? it just doesnt make sense to me... :headspin:
  13. We need only one more!! Come on guys... it's a good price for a quality harness.
  14. If anyone knows where I can find these wheels locally, or anyone has them for sale. Please PM me of email [email protected] Note: I'm not interested in bronze or white, must be GOLD with silver lip as in the image below. Cheers
  15. hahahahaa That's gold!
  16. hahaha, I believe the assumption is quite clear - You assumed the 334kw dyno screen was indicating the result achieved by the yellow supra. Case closed. Btw, I dont have an issue with you champ, I simply wanted you to note you were wrong, plain and simple... I think you do a good enough job at making a fool of yourself as it is, no assistance from me required here... you fearsome keyboard samurai
  17. Yes. Welcome to Victoria, the place to be defected! There are quite a few well known workshops in Melbourne, perhaps not the least expensive, but all the below have several years experience in Tuning and working on high performance cars: RacePace Motorsports Evolution R N1 Distribution Techniks Tuning (AutoRacingTechnick) ICE Performance There havent been many cruises lately, but summer is closing in so should be rockin again soon!
  18. LOL umm Yes you did make a complete toss of yourself, because if you werent even there and didnt know the setup, you shouldnt have commented.! I just wanted to draw attention to the fact You seemed so sure of your facts as you supposedly "worked it out" yourself.. but in in actual fact you only assumed it was the same setup as the previous Autosalon. So you deserved to be told :upurs: ..but you already knew that... hey genius?
  19. Where in Melbourne are you?
  20. I'm sure alot of people here know RWC testers who can do a "quick" roadworthy check without going over the whole care.... but it would be best if people PM'd you with any replies naming workshops.... just some friendly advice
  21. I'm using Motul RBF600 which has a higher boiling point than the Motul DOT 5.1 and works quite well... but it's not as kind on the rubber seals, brake lines, master cylinder, etc. Something else to consider. Motul DOT 5.1 is a good fluid but if you're going to do 5-6 hard laps at Sandown, you may find you're running out of brakes with RB74's.
  22. Break it down again slowly (for yourself)... cos you just owned yourself royally... beware the hidden dyno screen (Supra's screen not seen in that video). Isn't CREATD a Lancer GSR? It would be prudent to be sure of your facts before you fire off your keyboard champ... Now go and flame the living f*ck out of yourself
  23. Can you update the first post with confirmed numbers?
  24. y0 Pete, add me to the list for one of these... no stealth for me, I'm getting mine FULL POLISHED
