  4. Well they're not really designed for street use, but they are a street legal tyre. You can normally get around 8,000 to 12,000km I've been told possibly even more, it depends on your driving style. Obviously if you factor in the additional wear from attending track days the tyres wont last those many km's.

  8. Ok Guys, Here's the deal... Darren (Daz) and myself went down to Donnellan's in Box Hill this afternoon and arranged some great prices on Bridgestone RE55's for all you lucky SAU Vic punters who are looking to buy some semi-comp rubber. There are two different compound tyres you can choose from with the RE55, the SR or the TT. The difference is the TT is a softer compound, which is stickier around corners, but will wear out faster. The SR compound is recommended for getting more life out of the tyre, while still providing strong grip on the track. The price is the same for either compound that you choose. These prices are currently available as single purchase, just make sure you mention you're from Skylines Australia. The group buy I was planning was too difficult to coordinate logistically, and the prices wouldnt be much less anyway, as these are already low prices.. Details: Contact Person: Paul or Mark Donnellan's Box Hill (Bridgestone Tyre Centre) 837 Whitehorse Road, Box Hill Ph: (03) 9898 9591 Melway Ref: Page 47 B9 UBD map ref: Page 256 N14 Prices: [ 18" tyres ] Bridgestone RE55 235/40/18 . . . . . . . $354 per tyre Bridgestone RE55 265/35/18 . . . . . . . $392 per tyre [ 17" tyres ] Bridgestone RE55 235/45/17 . . . . . . . $347 per tyre Bridgestone RE55 255/40/17 . . . . . . . $363 per tyre Comparison of tread pattern between older Bridgestone 540s and current Bridgestone RE55: These are the best prices I've found, considering some of the other places charging $470 - $530 per tyre(!) for 18" size. I hope this helps people out with saving time searching for a good deal on Bridgestone semi-comps. See you on the track -Matt
  9. ^^ Pre meet info & details updated, see first post ^^
  10. G-Attack R-tune I can adjust the spring damper rates on the dial on the top of the struts.. but I to adjust the camber u need camber plates or a camber kit.. Yes Troy, answer my PM punk! Roy, what's a good camber setting you would recommend? I think the stock camber is set at 1 degree... so maybe increase of 1-2 degrees negative? I want about 3 deg. negative on the front.
  11. You have a pm Troy :headspin:
  12. I'm down for a pair of blue harnesses, with fast release buckle.
  13. 11.4% ?? fark... that's a bit high! Try going through a finance broker... if you can, get a commercial/business finance loan. You save heaps in interest.. the standard rate would be around 7-8%.
  14. Hrmm... I'm going to have to make some camber adjustments on my Nismo coilovers Thanks for the advance tip.
  15. That's a damn good price!! Daz I know u want these Fark... I'd even buy them for a second set... for backups haha

  21. I got my sparco bonnet pins from Meridian Motorsport.... cost $35 but I think the price is a bit higher now. As for the Sabelt TRW harnesses... If they're the blue one's pictured above with the 3" straps, rotor buckle (jet fighter style) and long straps for parcel shelf mounting then im in!!
  22. It's about time someone in Melbourne gave the boys from Japanese Motor Sport in Adelaide a run for their money!! I'm sure you would get alot of business from the keen punters in Melb. looking for good prices on second hand big brand performance gear. All the best with the business venture!
  23. It's not your solenoid which controls the fuel cut... it's your ECU. Adding an aftermarket solenoid, bypassing your stock solenoid, and having an electronic boost controller will allow you to increase your boost, but the ECU will still cut fuel once you go above a certain level of boost because it thinks your engine is receiving too much fuel, but in reality you're running more boost which is making more power and burning fuel quicker. You will need a fuel cut defender if you're having fuel cut out issues, but I wouldnt recommend using a FCD if you're boosting above 1.0 bar. Get a Power FC, and make sure you have adequate cooling capacity as you increase power.
  24. LOL wtf! the thread title says 12/9.... which is tomorrow (Sunday).. geez u dont need a long neck to be a goose
