Indeed. I would steer clear of this. Who wants a clapped out 32 GTR anyway... pfft. You would end up spending twice the asking price on fixing shit. Save yourself the money and get something better.

Hi all, after giving it some thought I've decided to cancel my S14.5 track car project and focus on my S15 instead. The car is for sale and after that most of the parts I bought for it will also be for sale. Base car $8200 ono 1998 s14a pearl white 6 point CAMS approved roll cage made by Fabraications in Braeside (cost $3k) Front "tubs" have been fabricated and custom radiator support by RE Autoworks in Springvale Complete SR20 engine minus turbo (needs to be built) 5 speed S14a gearbox All wiring looms Dashboard Door trims Front and rear seats Window glass (except windscreen) Engine and gearbox are currently out of the car and the interior has been fully stripped. Inside sound deadening has been removed. Car is still registered in Vic but rego can't be transferred obviously until the engine/gearbox is back in and running in order to get RWC. Is Dane bringing the super-cheater spec radical to HH? Would be interesting to see what it can do around a tight track like HH

Friday Cruise To Import Monster Sau Nationals
Downforce replied to Kaz200's topic in Archived Events
Nice work Kaz, I should be able to make one of the meet points. I take it the Western Ring Road macca's is the outbound one? I'm getting my track wheels put on in the morning and suspension alignment touch up, should be done before 12 See everyone there! -
I missed the first round this year, I'm in!
-
Hey Matt, the cabin price is only for 2 people (even though 2nd room has two bunk beds), I think they charge $15 extra for each additional person. I'm thinking about cancelling the sunday night and just staying Friday, Saturday and driving back after the show n shine. Then I can chill on Monday/Tuesday and enjoy the rest of the long weekend in Melb. As for tow car/trailer, it should be ok, this place is like a trailer park so there should be somewhere to put it. Best bet would be to ring up and check

spare room still available

LOL settle down fordy31, I believe the dole comment was in relation to the thieves. relax, don't take forum comments so personally hahaha, if you type in: "You mad bro?" with a "U", the forum text censor changes it to: "Are you positively annoyed friend? bro?"
-
hahaha. maybe time for something new Laith!
-
Ahh, no it's not actually. Far better than the outer suburbs. Note I said St Kilda Road (Melbourne), not st kilda the suburb which is indeed scummy in some parts.
-
Not much crime in my area..... but then again there is scum every where you go. Some suburbs just less than others. There are often reports of a crime gang "testing" the security of new buildings on st kilda road where they target anything of value in storage cages in the "secure" basement car parks. Lack of cameras, too long delays on auto closing access doors, and lack of care by residents leaving remotes in their cars means anyone can gain entry by tail gating through when someone enters the car park, steal a remote and booya you have ability to come and go..until the building admin cancel the remote (if they bother).

Varrstoen 2.2.1 18X9.5 +12
Downforce replied to ti2l's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Varrstoen are the best looking TE37 replica's available. I personally only buy genuine, but if you want the TE37 look without the price (and don't mind not having light weight wheels), then these are the best ones to get. -
Nothing stays the same forever
-
At least I actually take my cars to the track hamish You liked my decals, go on.. admit it
-
Now now Jamie, there is a difference between sunken crappy looking wheels, compared to a decent looking set of wheels with better fitment. That doesn't have to mean spastic offset and tyres more stretched than a hooker at kings cross on a Friday night.
-
LOL It's been down there for months, getting some secret ninja aero mods done
-
Oh rly, and what section are we in here Ash? Vic? I don't see any privileged rights for mlr in here
