Damn, some nice mods on the car. Where was it stolen from? Basement car park? Alarm, immobilizer? Hope you had good insurance cover.
-
Awesome John! It goes hard now, sounds tuff as well

Risks will always exist, doesn't mean it's ok to add more..

Man I hate the term drone being used for these f**king toys.. we can thank the mass media for that bullshit. Would be some cool footage, but also dangerous if the hobby quadcopter lost power and landed on the track or on a car distracting the driver under heaving braking.

The notion of being able to reach the fire extinguisher whilst your harness is tightened is rubbish. When I'm strapped tight in my harness, I can barely turn my torso, let alone reach down to the floor pan to grab my fire extinguisher at my feet. Yet scrutineers have never said it's a problem in any event I've attended. The only place I've seen these 'requirements' is in supplementary regulations for some events which are essentially "made up" by the club running the event. There is no such requirement stipulated in the CAMS manual. http://docs.cams.com.au/Manual/GeneralRequirements/GQ09-Schedule-H-2015-1.pdf

If you're still looking, check out this bad boy from Queensland, similar mods... I actually prefer this one, only $58k with a genuine Nismo Z-tune carbon bonnet (costs $8k+)... which makes me wonder why they cheaped out on the cheapo LED tail lights rather than genuine Nismo, Nagasaki Auto or Sunline Racing items. http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Nissan-Skyline-1999/SSE-AD-3334870/ People in Queensland appear to get away with far more than us for modified cars on the street...

X-force's Varex mufflers are easy to spot with the chunky motor mounted on them, and apparently they are illegal for street use in Victoria if they are above 90db fully open. If you have one installed the controller has to go somewhere... another thing to hide from cops. Boost controller - EPA. Two induction mods - EPA. Aftermarket ECU - EPA.. Not worth the hassle unless you don't mind taking the risk.

Yep I've got a Qstarz also. Had one for 3 years, still in its box because I've never used it lol... kinda have to go to the track to make use of it -
That's because you don't live in Victoria..

Modding cars for street use just isn't fun in Victoria any more. It's either make it super stealth/plain in the engine bay for the inevitable 'random' police stop, or keep your 'fast' car for use on the track. Or buy an R35 (or equivalent fast factory built car). Or move to Queensland. The fuel pressure regulator is not a roadworthy 'defect' item, but it is on the list of 'banned' items advised by the EPA. Same goes for aftermarket ECU, fuel system mods (injectors, fuel pump(s)), exhaust, etc, etc. The EPA have authority over VicRoads to suspend your registration and impose nasty fines. Once your car has an EPA notice, you need to return it to stock, and you cannot sell it registered. Not worth the hassle unless any mods you have are easily reversible, or if you hardly ever drive it, but you still run the risk every time you take it out on the road.

Hey Jamie.. long time no see! Good to see you still around the forums

Beautiful looking R34 GTR. It's still rare to find good ones with that level of modification.

That's some smooth driving .... you almost look relaxed The gearbox in the 86 looks super smooth to shift as well, wish I could say the same for the s15. Richo - what goes on there? what issues did you have with the r33? -

This is what happens when you're a guest at another club's track day - if they allow passenger laps, then everyone gets less track time. IMO, Passenger laps are bullshit... the only 'passenger' allowed should be in Driver training sessions. -
Get a trailer then... Not worth it to drive that distance burning up E85, and if you have semi slicks it's even worse.

This spreadsheet is the first info I've seen posted about the motorsport classes this year, interesting!

Nice single spinner there Charles Definitely get a LSD... recommend you get 1.5 way if it's street driven, will be a little more forgiving.
-
Nice driving Richo, that's damn quick....A little bit more than 220rwkw now hey
-
Huzzah! Still got the s14a?
