  1. Yeah too bad about the shitty weather, I was taking it easy the first couple of sessions then it started raining. The Z06 corvette coming on full noise down the straight sounded so good The M3 CSL was nice too. Was awesome seeing Luke and Anthony's long power slides coming on to the straight John you're a nut behind the wheel!!! Nice times
  2. forecast looks ok http://www.weatherzone.com.au/vic/melbourne/sandown-park/detailed-forecast
  3. Very nice Daniel. Craft Square mirrors for the win! I still have my set at home. lol
  4. Geez John you get up early!!!
  5. not bad at all. but then again autobarn's markups are pretty decent too
  6. Well i'm all set for Sandown this Sunday. Just hope it doesn't rain! Advan cup looks interesting - Juzzy are there any other rules apart from being street registered and running the advan control tyres?
  7. I know the previous owner, he was very fussy about keeping it maintained, yet hardly drove it. Sold it a few years ago because he bought a Vspec II modified by Top Secret. No idea about the current condition or owner.
  8. I may or may not have contracted to the AFP in the past/present Nothing to do with traffic enforcement though

  10. Bring cake with you and you will have friends
  11. Went for a nice casual drive in to the CBD today.. parked right out front of the AFP headquarters. Had an undercover tail me up Queen st then turned off, no issues
  12. ^^ Agree. I didn't get told off for noise at the Alfa club sprint, i'll see how I go =]
  13. Alcon or AP/Brembo ftw. JFK seems to do ok with CSC/Bmax brakes. D2/G4 is cheap, but hey whatever works and suits your budget. We are only talking about sprints/club level motorsport here. Personally I buy expensive brand stuff because 1) I'm a brand whore 2) I can afford it. Each to their own I say. I may have somewhat expensive brakes, but they aren't over the top... and it doesn't mean shit if the rest of the car hasn't had appropriate money spent on the right areas too.
  14. I've gone to the trouble to properly bolt my extinguisher bracket through the floor. just for peace of mind, and so i can honestly say it's been done.
  15. Ahh I see, didn't realise that was the criteria. Cheers for clarifying!
  16. ahh... well I think handbags has well and truly smashed that with the 1:16 he did in big red at Sandown. Don't see any of the RWD boys beating that soon! the muffler possibly will fit, I'm not familiar with R32 exhaust layout. It has a right 90degree mandrel bend off the muffler, 3.5" all the way. Fits R34's, unsure about other models.
  17. I always lul at the Wrx sup regs where it used to say fire extinguisher must be within reach of the driver whilst strapped in the harness - dude, i can't even turn my body let alone reach for a fire extinguisher. if my car's on fire i wouldn't be staying in the harness either
  18. fark 340kw by 3500rpm.. that's an animal. GTR powahh
  19. Dancing with fences!! wow haven't seen you post on the forum in ages
  20. oh well, yeah i've had a fair bit of interest in the wing, but mostly interstate! even had a dude in Canada who wanted a shipping quote lol... Not really keen to send it interstate let alone overseas! I'm in no rush either way.
  21. Congrats champ. You always told me you 'only' had 250kw, liar!! Will be good to see you back out on the track.
